Ah, the red carpet. The perfect place to round up celebs like cattle and rate them based solely on looks. You gotta love awards season. The Golden Globes red carpet had a ton of hits, and not many misses, making it a great night for fashion.

And if you just can’t wait until Friday to watch E!’s Fashion Police, don’t worry. Hollyscoop talked to co-host George Kotsiopoulos from NBC Universal's 69th Annual Golden Globes Viewing And After Party Sponsored By Chrysler And Hilton . We asked George who he thought was the best dressed, who was the worst dressed, and what style tips he has for everyone in between.

“I have to say, Tilda Swinton was probably one of my best dressed,” Kotsiopoulos told Hollyscoop. “She looked beautiful, but the thing is…so many women looked gorgeous.”

So who else does he list as his best dressed?

Emma Stone in Lanvin, amazing. Reese Whitersppon is Zac Posen, gorgeous. Kate Beckinsale looked amazing. Who’s the other one? Viola Davis in custom Pucci was amazing.”

Okay, so there were a lot who George picked as b--

“Jessica Chasatin in Givenchy couture was amazing…Jessica Alba in Gucci Premiere.”

Is that it? Can we--

“Charlize Theron in Dior, like so many beautiful dresses, I just don’t know what to pick. Angelina Jolie in Italia Versace, that’s actually best."

Okay, we had to go through basically every lady that showed up to the Golden Globes, but it sounds like George’s top picks were Tilda Swinton and Angelina. You can’t blame him, nearly every actress was dressed spot-on for the Golden Globes.

“[Angelina] can do no wrong, “Kotsiopoulos continued. “Angelina will stand the test of time.”

George also added that Natalie Portman in Lanvin was “really beautiful.”

“I mean it did jut out on one side…it was very cool, I love anything that’s kind of quirky and out there…because there’s only so many mermaid dresses you can look at.”

Touche. So let’s get down to the dirty. Who was the worst dressed?

“This was the worst only because she’s so beautiful…Elle McPherson.”

But why?

“There was just way too much going on,” George told Hollyscoop. “Simplicity, elegance would have suited her better.”

He also didn’t care for Jessica Biel’s “long sleeve thing.”

“I just think it’s a trend. I didn’t love it on Jessica Biel…but she’s so gorgeous.”

And what red carpet rule does George say some A-listers need to heed?

“Undergarments!”

Like, underwear?

“It’s all about the foundations,” George said. “I saw a guest here…who’s just wearing the wrong underwear, and I’m just looking at her from behind thinking like, ‘oh my god, you have VPL: visible panty lines,’ and she was actually pulling them out of her butt…I mean, wear a g-string, even if you’re not going to wear Spanx, wear a g-string.”

George also tells Hollyscoop the trend for Spring will be “blushes and pastels, which I’ve been saying over and over.”

Kotsiopoulos tells us that’s been the trend on the runways, and “the red carpet is a reflection of what we see on the runways.”

“So a lot of [pastels],” George says. “A few metallics, a lot of red.”
