“Modern Family” actress Julia Bowen stunned last night on the Golden Globes in a pale pink Reem Acra gown. The dainty and lady-like gown featured jeweled detailing on the sleeves and a heart-shaped bust.

She looked very much like the Belle of the ball, however, 3 years ago Olivia Wilde ALSO looked like the Belle of the ball. Same belle, different ball.

Usually when celebs wear the same dress, they usually wear it like 3 months apart, but Olivia Wilde wore the same Reem Acra dress at the 2008 Emmy’s, the only difference was the color.

I love them both in this dress, but I can’t help but feel like Julie Bowen got Olivia Wilde’s sloppy seconds. Like really sloppy - Like three years later, I wonder how many super sweet sixteen heiresses also wore that dress in the three years between the 2008 Emmys and the 2012 Golden Globes!

In Julie Bowen’s defense, her dress was pink and Oliva Wilde’s was white. That must count for something?

Also, wearing Reem Acra at the Golden Globes last night was Madonna. She chose a silver and dark gunmetal number with a full cascading gown. Though Madonna likened the dress to a knight in shining armor, “I love it,” she says, “because I feel like I’m wearing chain mail and I’m ready to go to battle.”

Note to Madonna: If you want Reem Acra to dress you again for any future awards shows, do not say you think the dress is just like “chain mail.” Just a thought.

Diane Lane, who stars in HBO’s Cinema Verite also wore Acra. In a champagne colored gown with gold sequined detailing, she also stunned in this designer.
