Adele\'s Vogue Cover Is Worst Seller Of All Time
Adele’s recent UK Vogue cover was one of the worst selling Vogue covers of all time!

But I thought we all collectively loved her?! I thought “21” was the best selling album of 2011!?

Fashionistas, why don’t you like Adele?

UK Vogue Editor Alexandra Shulman says Vogue covers with musician never sell as well as vogue covers with actresses or models. That being said, they weren’t expecting Adele sales to be so low.

“Adele is the most popular woman in the world, but one of the worst sellers we’ve ever had,” according to vogue.co.uk.

Shulman adds, “I find there has to be a relationship with the person on the cover that goes beyond how they look.”

What is she even talking about? I know more about Adele’s love life than I do about my roommates!? All 9 million people who bought Adele’s latest album have a “relationship” with her.

Surprisingly, the best selling Vogue issue was one that didn’t feature any celeb on the cover.

“Out most successful cover was the millennium issue – which didn’t have anyone on it, but [the cover] acted like a mirror so you could see your own reflection!”

What she’s saying is, Vogue readers are vain.

The one cover girl that Shulman is aiming to get?

“I’d love to have Kate Middleton on the cover,” says Shulman, “I assure you it is not for want of asking.”
