The usually brunette bombshell Alessandra Ambrosio goes androgynous mod on the new cover of Muse magazine.

While you might be used to this 30-year-old model strutting around the Victoria’s Secret catwalk in glittery underwear and giant wings proving unfairly that some models can be super skinny AND have boobs, Ambrosio does it up top-model status and ditches the giant wings and slutty stilettos.

In a fashion shoot titled “Fire and Ice” she wears a boyish bob wig, with thick eyebrows and a very futuristic style. This publication is shot in Italy and Ambrosio was snapped by photographer Chad Pitman and styled by Melissa Rubini. She wears a Marc Jacobs top, Alexander Wang pants, an Alexander McQueen corset, and a Dondup jacket for the image where she wears a blonde wig. In the other image she wears a black-haired wig and pairs it with a silver and black Ralph Lauren dress.

Last week Ambrosio and the rest of the Victoria’s Secret gang stopped by the VS Herald Square NY store to, I dunno, pose with underwear and wear sexy santa hats.

If you want to look almost as good as Ambrosio herself, you can at least follow her beauty advice. She may have a three-year old daughter at home, but she always looks well rested, “I always make sure I take my make-up off before I got to sleep,” reveals the model. She also says, “Coconut Water has a lot of minerals. It hydrates you and it’s really delicious – the taste is incredible.”

In other Alesandra Ambrosio news, she will take the Victoria’s Secret Stage tomorrow night on CBS. Joined by other VS angels like Adriana Lima, Miranda Kerr, Doutzen Kroes, Candice Swanepoel, Erin Heatherton, Lily Aldridge and Lindsay Ellingson.

The girls strut their stuff in the newest gear from VS while enjoying live performances from Nicki Minaj, Kanye West, Jay Z and Maroon 5.

You’ll even glimpse Alessandra wearing 30lb angel wings which she said she had to work out to be able to hold it up, “I tried to strengthen my back a little bit.”

But she said it’s her daughter Anja who really cared about the fashion show, “She was just playing model, she was being an Angel. She didn’t see the costumes, she only saw the wings. She saw the wings, and she was like, “Mama! I have all these wings too at home! I have a butterfly, I have angel wings!”
