Alexander McQueen Fall 2012 Collection: Bigger is Better
Alexander McQueen’s Fall 2012 collection, helmed by Sarah Burton was anything but clothes, but that isn't necessarily a bad thing. Also, since when has an Alexander McQueen collection actually made anything that was “ready-to-wear,” it’s the art and the beauty of fashion that makes us so fascinated with Alexander McQueen.

The show featured a gradual incline from bizarre to absolutely absurd and it was all delightful. While Lee Alexander McQueen celebrity a kind of beauty in misery, Sarah Burton attempted to morph that idea into something that showcased a more “beautiful future, positivity, [and] optimism.”

McQ, the offshoot brand of the iconic Alexander McQueen made its runway debut yesterday at London Fashion Week and the results were incredible.

Kate Middleton Wows in Black Alexander McQueen Dress
I really could just title these stories "Kate Middleton doing things" and throw in the phrase "Pippa Middleton's butt" every 100 words, because people go nuts for both these chicks no matter the situation.

Anyways, it was another fashion moment for the Duchess who donned her most sultry outfit ever. Gone were the old lady suits and panty hose she usually wears, Kate Middleton looked like Hollywood glamor for once.

She and a dapper Prince William who looked so fine in a tuxedo and bow-tie stepped out together to the "Night of Heroes" ...
Alexander McQueen's "McQ" Line to Debut at London Fashion Week
Alexander McQueen’s lower priced younger skewing diffuse line, McQ, will show for the first time at London’s Fashion Week in February 2012.

This is a big deal for Londoners, as this is the first major catwalk show for the brand and will coincide with the opening of a new four-story McQ flagship store opening in London’s exclusive Mayfair district.

The Fashion Week runway show will feature their autumn/winter 2012-2013 collection and will serve a preview for the clothing to land in the store opening later in the year.

McQ was launched in 2006 as a trendier more affordable version of the Alexander McQueen mainline designs. After McQueen’s death in February 2010, his assistant Sarah Burton took over as creative director of the fashion house.
Alexander McQueen 2012 Spring/Summer Ready-to-Wear Collection Offers Femininity
Thankfully, there were no casualties on the Alexander McQueen runway as the models all walked the catwalk with head masks. How those girls did it is beyond me, but that’s why they get paid the big bucks.

Sarah Burton unveiled her 2012 Spring/Summer ready-to-wear collection for Alexander McQueen during Paris Fashion Week and to no surprise her collection got rave reviews.

This was Sarah’s third collection for the fashion house and it is being said that she brought “fragility and femininity to the catwalk.”

What you saw during the show was a lot of ruffles, form-fitting jackets, and silvery and pink dresses with a lot of sharp tailoring.

Who Said Athletes Don't Have Style?
The Espy Awards took place at the Staples Center yesterday. Sports figures are not really known for their fashion sense but tennis star Maria Sharapova clearly proved me wrong.

The Russian hottie walked the red carpet in a blue-feathered Alexander McQueen dress that showed off her seriously long legs. The dress was altered for Maria’s liking, as the original one seen on the runway was actually a long gown. I saw Maria on the red carpet yesterday and I spotted her from miles away because she was a) super tall and b) stunning.
Kate Middleton Gets Fashion Inspiration From Hollywood
First it was Madonna and now Sarah Jessica Parker! Kate Middleton must have gone through some old magazines and picked out some looks that celebrities have worn in the past.

And when I say past, I mean about 5 years ago.

While on her North American tour, one of the outfits Kate wore a cream colored Alexander McQueen dress.
