Alexander McQueen Exhibit Extended

The Alexander McQueen exhibit has just been extended for another week because of record visitors.

The annual exhibition at the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute, which focused on Alexander McQueen's 'Savage Beauty,' will now close on August 7.

They're also launching the “Met Mondays with McQueen” program that will kick off on Monday June 6.

For $50 a person, fans will have special access to the galleries between 9:30 am to 2:30 pm while the rest of the museum is closed.

The exhibition opened on May 4 and was the biggest ever for the Costume Institute and the second biggest for the entire museum.

The first was Vincent van Gogh: The Drawings in 2005, with more than 150,000 visitors.

Make sure to check out the once in a lifetime exhibit while you can.
