McQueen whose clothes usually fetch for thousands and thousands of dollars will produce a collection for the mega chain that will be available in stores and online from March 1 through April 11, 2009.
McQueen said the line is inspired by the British band Duke Spirit. Duke Spirit is a grunge band and lead singer Leila Moss was McQueen's muse for the collection.
WWD says, "The collection has a muted color palette of black, white, gray and tan with accents of cobalt blue and bright pink. Studs and mesh give items an edge. "
Alexander McQueen for Target? Talk about hitting a fashion Bulls Eye.
While it's still too soon to view the collection, take a peek at the McQ Spring 2009 line to see what he may have in store for us fashionistas on a budget.
