The fashion world reunited on Monday to pay tribute to the late Alexander McQueen during London Fashion Week.
Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell, Sarah Jessica Parker, who were all dressed in the nines attended the service to pay tribute to the late designer at London's St Paul's Cathedral. Fashion god Anna Wintour, who happened to be McQueen's first employer let the eulogies during the service.
Sources say it was a very emotional hour-long service remembering the designer, who committed suicide seven months ago.
Reverend Canon Giles Fraser told the congregation: “We give thanks for his creative mind, his showmanship, and for his capacity to shock.” He also touched on McQueen's troubled past saying, “It was a life lived in the public gaze, but it was as vulnerable and retiring as it was glamorous.”
An emotional SJP, who was wearing McQueen told reporters: ”It was beautiful and so memorable. I wouldn't have missed it for the world.”
Sad that someone so talented would cut his own life so short. RIP McQueen!
