Ali Lohan Scores Modeling Contract; How Young is Too Young to Start Modeling?

Lilo’s 17-year old sister Ali Lohan has signed a multi-year modeling contract with NEXT Model Management.
This is really bad news for Lindsay Lohan. Why? Because the only job she seems to have is modeling these days, since her acting career hasn’t really gone anywhere because of her multiple stints in rehab.
"We are very excited to be representing Aliana Lohan," NEXT Los Angeles Director Alexis Borges confirmed to Just Jared. "She represents the future face of fashion and will be a photographer's dream with her chameleon-like beauty."
Ali is no amateur in the modeling world. We’ve seen some work from her in the past including being the face of Lindsay’s 6126 fashion line for its Spring/Summer 2011 campaign.

Before Lindsay’s life took a left turn she was also doing a lot of modeling for big names such as Jill Stuart, Miu Miu, and Dooney & Bourke, as well as the 2008 Visa Swap British fashion campaign. She was also the face of Italian clothing company Fornarina for its Spring/Summer 2009 campaign.
Younger sisters of stars are starting to upstage their older siblings. Kendall Jenner, who is Kim Kardashian’s younger half sister also has a promising career in the modeling world. If Kris Jenner has anything to do with it, Kendall will be a millionaire by the time she’s 18.
When Kendall was only 13-years old she was signed with Wilhelmina Models and has been the face of multiple fashion lines.
Models are getting younger and younger these days. Just last week French Vogue got a lot of heat when they featured 10-year old French model Thylane Loubry Blondeau.
"This isn't edgy. It's inappropriate, and creepy, and I never want to see a nine-year-old girl in high-heeled leopard print bedroom slippers every again," said editor of Feminsting.com
