Trends From the 2011 Golden Globes Red Carpet!
Let’s get real...the main reason people love big award shows so much is because of the red carpet fashion.

The Golden Globes is one of my favorite carpets to be on because all the celebrities are dressed to impress and the carpet is like a big party. The Moet Champagne being passed out to stars on the carpet definitely helped the mood!

Behind the Scenes Photos From 2011 Golden Globes

Speaking of Moet, I thought I had too much of it at one point and was seeing double! I kept seeing the same colors on the red carpet on different ladies. Green, nude and blush-tone dresses were the big trends this year at the 2011 Golden Globes.

Green is not a common color to see on a red carpet, but last night 4 leading ladies were onthe carpet in their different shades of green.

Catherine Zeta Jones- A true star! When she walks, everyone stares because she has that true movie star look. Last night was no different, especially with that Monique Lhuillier ball gown. If anyone else wore that dress I would have probably dissed it, but she looked so elegant! Please, no one else attempt it!

Angelina Jolie- Finally, Angie wore something other than black! And it paid off because she looked stunning in her Atelier Versace gown. Brad and Angie were actually really nice on the red carpet. They stopped and posed for pics with fans, which is always good to see.

Mila Kunis - Some people didn’t like Mila’s Vera Wang dress because they thought it overshadowed her tiny frame. I didn’t think it was hideous, but she could have definitely worn something that didn’t look like it was the 90’s and she was going to prom.

Elisabeth Moss- The Donna Karan strapless gown looked great on her! The dress is very safe, but the color isn’t. Good balance, Moss!

Scarlett Johansson- Stunning! The only problem was that her Donna Karan strapless gown dress looked very similar to Sandra Bullock’s blush gown.

Carrie Underwood- This girl knows exactly what looks good on her and she sticks to it. Her strapless Badgley Mischka dress looked amazing in pictures and even more great in person.

Anne Hathaway- The Giorgio Armani Privé gown was amazing, but the fit wasn’t so flattering on Anne. Most of her pics came out awkward because it looked like it might have been big on her, but I saw that dress in person and it looked great!

Leighton Meester- I hate that I’m writing this, but Leighton Meester has been really disappointing in the fashion department lately. Her Burberry dress was so drab and not Golden Globes-worthy.

Blush Tones:

Lea Michele- Does Oscar de la Renta ever make a bad dress? Nope! Lea looked like a true star with the pink one -shouldered gown. Now, if only she can fix that rumored bad attitude .

Megan Fox- Megan’s Giorgio Armani Privé was beautiful, but sort of boring. I expected so much more from Megan Fox. She should have been a bit more risky!

Natalie Portman- A perfect dress for a pregnant Natalie Portman. The pink Victor & Rolf dress was playful and adorable just like Natalie!

Claire Danes- Claire’s pink Calvin Klein dress was simple but beautiful. Claire’s not known to be an over the top person, so it was a perfect fit.
