Oscar Night Fashion Secret--Spanx!

Actresses earn their Oscar nominations through talent and hard work – but how do they keep their ‘character’ in place once they get on the red carpet? The secret is SPANX!

You may have heard about SPANX before but now Hollyscoop.com is naming Oscar nominated names...

“Kate Winslet, Anne Hathaway, Amy Adams, Penelope Cruz and Viola Davis” will be wearing ‘shapewear’ beneath their gowns, according to SPANX PR Manager Maggie Adams.

The most surprising star who requested shapewear? … “Slum Dog Millionaire’s Freida Pinto, who is very thin, a perfect figure,” Maggie says.

Maggie gave hollyscoop.com the celebrity skinny at their gift lounge during the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. She says, “Its not about looking smaller its about getting the perfect, flawless silhouette because on the red carpet (celebrities) are getting photographed from every angle, front, back, side, from high to low, and they want to look perfect. That is a night you don’t want to leave anything out.”

“The perfect red carpet begins with the right pair of SPANX,” Maggie says. And she isn’t speaking about your typical girdle either. SPANX has gone haute couture! Now, “you can have your shape and be sexy too.”

Also requesting SPANX for the big day are The Insider’s Samantha Harris and Cameron Diaz. Should Oprah attend she is SPANX’s biggest supporter and even legendary, Oscar Nominated Actress Meryl Streep may be wearing the secret weapon for her possible acceptance speech.
