The Desert Gets Some High Fashion

You don't have to be a genius to know the Desert got a little hotter last night! Some very A-list stars came out for the 20th Annual Palm Springs International Film Festival and looked pretty amazing doing it.

Anne Hathaway, who never seems to disappoint these days showed up in a Black Balmain Spring 2009 dress. The demure little black dress had a hint of rock and roll with a serious mesh panel embellishing the corset. Anne added some serious glamour to the dress by dripping in some serious Cartier jewels, and her always trusty Louboutins.

She may be starring in Doubt, but there was no doubt that Amy Adams made the red carpet her own last night. Stunning in a maroon sweetheart dress, the star looked extremely pulled together and classy. Adams who usually always plays it safe on the carpet knows what works for her and always manages to look elegant.

Not to be outdone, some movie star men added a hint of sophistication to this desert fashion show! Sean Penn and Leonardo DiCaprio showed up in the usual suits. Dicaprio rocking silver tie and serious movie star looks appeared strong and confident. If these stars are looking this good for the Desert, we can’t imagine what the Golden Globes will look like this weekend.
