Georgio Armani Says No One Can Replace Him
At 77 years old, Italian fashion designer Georgio Armani, might finally be poised to retire, but the Armani head thinks there is no one person who can fill his void, he claims not even a "genius" could fill his spot.

In an interview with Germany's Die Zeit magazine he said, "There will be many small Armanis in my company to continue my work, but there will be no genius capable of taking on all this. That would mean defrauding myself and my seriousness. For another ego, there is obviously no room here," says Armani.

Don't you love it when the aging fashion designers talk out loud? Hands down, the most egocentric gems come from the mouths of Georgio Armani, Karl Lagerfeld, Donatella Versace, and Roberto Cavalli. Give those guys a microphone and watch the claws come out.

Armani also says that he hates Hollywood. Yes, HATES it.
Best and Worst Dressed at the 2010 Oscars
The Oscars are finally here, and so are the best-dressed awards list--and worst dressed. The red carpet has some hot new trends for 2010, which included a lot of ballroom-eque gowns, miles of ruffles, and champagne colored gowns.

BEST DRESSED:
Miley Cyrus took home the best-dressed award for her champagne colored Jenny Packham gown. She looked absolutely radiant in the dress, which she paired with jeweled earrings and a simple updo.
Kate Winslet looked gorgeous as always in her YSL (Yves Saint Laurent) couture gown. Kate is the epitome of class and looked flawless in her gown, so she's definitely in the best-dressed list.
• Does Demi Moore ever age? She looked beautiful in her nude Atelier Versace ruffle gown, which she paired with a clutch and teardrop earrings.
• Lady of the evening, Sandra Bullock literally shined on the red carpet in her Marchesa gown. She looked like she was ready to go home with more than just the best-dressed award!

GET A NEW STYLIST:
• 'Avatar' star Zoe Saldana needs a new stylist for recommending the gown she wore on the red carpet. She's such a gorgeous girl and this tie-died dress was not working for her! It looked like she was wearing two different dresses, the top was gorgeous but the bottom needed to go!
Diane Kruger looked like she was ready to herd sheep in this Chanel dress. Big No-No!
Sarah Jessica Parker is known to be a trendsetter, but this big bird inspired Chanel gown failed to impress us. What was she thinking?? And her hair looked bigger than her dress, she looked like she was about to tip over!

PLAYED IT SAFE:
These stars played it so safe they didn't make it on our best or worst dressed, but deserve a mention anyway.
• 'Up in the Air' star Anna Kendrick looked lovely in her Elie Saab nude dress, but it was so nude it almost went unnoticed. Considering it was her big night, she should have played it up a little.
Mariah Carey looked nice on the carpet, but it resembled a bridesmaid dress for an Armenian wedding. Not her best look.
Mo'Nique hid her hairy legs under this royal blue Grecian-inspired Tadashi Shoji dress. The color was gorgeous, but the dress failed to make it on our best-dressed list.

CLOSE CALL:
Jennifer Lopez and Amanda Seyfriend's stylists have some explaining to do. They both wore very similar Armani Prive gown to the Oscars this year. Same looking dress, same material. Not a great idea!

From Runway to Golden Globe Red Carpet

You saw the stars wear them last night, but chances are their stylist saw their outfits a long time ago.

When it came to last nights Golden Globe Awards, some very A-list stars took their fashion cues directly from the runway months ago.

Anne Hathaway literally took the exact same dress off a hungry models back. She dazzled in the Armani Prive midnight blue gown.

Jennifer Lopez was dripping in gold, but we saw this gown months ago. At the Marchesa show, a model donned the look, no doubt catching the eye of La Lopez and her stylist.

Same can be said for Beyonce as she turned her metallic Elie Saab Spring 2008 Haute Couture runway look into reality.

Cameron Diaz's Chanel Couture was not perfect enough for the Charlie's Angel. Oh No! The star made a few tweaks, and showed a little more skin than the original creation called for.

So next time you see a fashion show, keep your eyes pealed for your favorite stars. Who knows, it could go from the runway to red carpet faster then you can say Stylist!
Alicia Keys Disappoints On The Red Carpet

Alicia Keys really disappointed me on the red carpet this year. The R & B Vocal Performance winner was wearing a Giorgio Armani Prive satin gown. Her gown was not all that bad but it might have been a bit too dark for her skin tone.

Her hair was just HORRIBLE. Maybe, if her hair was different the dress wouldn't look so bad.

I'm a really big Keys fan and I wish I didn't need to put her in the worst dressed list, but unfortunately she's on there. Better luck next time!
Katie Holmes Dazzles In Armani

Katie Holmes walked the red carpet last night at the premiere of her new movie "Mad Money."

I've become obsessed with the dress she was wearing. After some digging I found out that Holmes was actually wearing a silver Armani number last night.

The dress was AMAZING and I’m not even gonna bother finding out the price because it's definitely gonna depress me even more.
Katie Holmes' Dress Straight Off The Runway

Katie Holmes was sparkling last night in a Armani Prive` dress at Tom Cruise’s German premiere of ‘Lions for Lambs.’

The dress was straight off the runway but it seems like Katie had modified it just a bit. The dress was probably too revealing for Katie and Tom because she had covered her chest. I actually prefer the sexy runway look but Katie still looked amazing.

Did you guys think Katie rocked the dress as well as the model on the runway?
