Fans can submit their t-shirt designs for the Jessica Simpson Girls back-to-school collection and winners will be chosen by Jessica and Ashlee Simpson themselves.

Tina suggested that Ashlee and Jessica combine their styles and create a little girls clothing line.
"My mother thought it would be great to combine both of our styles, both of our personalities," Jessica Simpson told Fashionista.com at the launch of their new pre-teen clothing line at Dylan's Candy Bar last week.

According to Jessica, the duo has a very yin and yang approach to designing, citing that. "It's a combination of both of our styles," Jessica tells Fashionista online, "Ashlee is very rock 'n' roll, and I'm very American." Because little girls like dressing like American Rockstars.
"I'm more of like your all-American girl. I'm pretty classic," says Jessica of her own style, "Combining the two is always fun. But I am the person that does like to wear something simple and throw a crazy accessory with it."

“I’m excited to bring my sister, Ashlee, along as co-creative director of this division, because she brings a savvy rocker edge that defines today’s tweens,” says Jessica Simpson.
Who are these tweens with a “savvy rocker edge?” When I was 8 I was busy getting my head stuck between the banisters of the staircase.

Ashlee was seen at salon earlier this week and when she left, she was sporting an even shorter and blonder do.
She’s so blonde now that her scalp actually shows. Either that or she lost a bunch of hair because of the hair bleach.
What do you guys think of Ashlee’s shorter do? Styling must be easier since extensions can get unruly at times.

Ashlee showed off her new do last night in NYC while out with her son. She has chopped off all her hair and has gone back to blonde again.
We respect her for being different! While everyone is going dark for the winter season, Ashlee is back to blonde.
Not only has she changed her hair color, but she's chopped off her hair as well. Now, Ashlee has the Platinum blonde pixie cut.
“Ashlee Simpson-Wentz (@ashsimpsonwentz) new blonde pixie haircut is cute. Ill try and sneak a pic to post,” Ashlee's husband Pete Wentz Tweeted.
He then posted a pic of Ashlee and their son who now have matching blonde hair saying, “Yah fam headed out tonight stoked! Cute hair mama!”

Ashlee is planning on following in her sister Jessica Simpson's footsteps and launching a fashion line.
A source tells Star magazine, "Ashlee wants to start a clothing line. She wants it to be both preppy and punk rock. She thinks she can really succeed in fashion."
Ashlee was fired from 'Melrose Place' earlier this month, which basically frees up her entire schedule.
There are reports that she's also planning on reprising her role as Roxy Hart in 'Chicago' for London's West End, but there are still very few details about her return to the stage.

Last night Ashlee Simpson rocked a hot black sweetheart bustier corset top, which displayed her inner rocker chic at the Axe Instinct and Rolling Stone Magazine Present "The Power of Leather" Party in NYC.
Ina Soltani, the Bosnian native isn’t all about Rock N Roll. The designer is best known for her girly,flirty, fun short and colorful dresses. No wonder this line is a big hit in Tinseltown!

Oh-Oh! Fashion emergency! Ok, not really but the popular shoes on the orange carpet at the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards were the Patent d'Orsay Wedged Christian Louboutins.
Both Cameron Diaz and Ashlee Simpson were rocking the shoes on the carpet at the show. Don't worry though; they were both sporting different colors.
They're really cute summer shoes but one thing that's obvious that it doesn't sit too well. It seems like both Ashlee's and Cameron's toes are hanging because of the way the shoe is made. If you're interested in buying the shoes you can buy it from Neiman Marcus for $645.

Ashlee Simpson is the latest celebrity crossing over to the fashion world. She's debuting her own line of t-shirts next month. They feature designs inspired by her own personality, sense of style, and artwork. They come out the same day as her new album, Bittersweet World, on April 22nd.
Ashlee says, "I was inspired by so many fun, wonderful things as I was recording Bittersweet World and it's been great to carry through those inspirations into these new shirt designs. I hope my fans love this album and rock out in these shirts."
Hey if Jessica Simpson can make shoes, Ashlee can definitely be successful with t-shirts.
