Olsens Wanna Dress First Lady Michelle Obama

Ashley Olsen and Mary Kate Olsen are featured in the September issue of Harper's Bazaar. In the mag they talk about their successful high-end clothing line, The Row, their dream client, and how their mother taught them to dress when they were little.

“I’d love to get Michelle Obama in the Row,” Ashley says. “The simple suits and things. It’s all made in America, so why not?”

They also opened up about how the paparazzi is no longer obsessed with them because they are really boring.

“Remember that crazy time when all of us young girls were being followed?” Ashley says. Now that they have both moved to New York full-time, we see them less. “We’re either at home or here at the studio,” Mary-Kate notes. “I think they got bored of us.”

As for their own style, they say that they learned to cover up because of their mom. “When we were growing up, our mother taught us never to have your belly button exposed,” says Mary-Kate. “We’ve always been attracted to longer— “Layers, silhouettes,” Ashley says, finishing her sentence.

These two girls are only 24 and they have built an empire. But they have been working since they were 18 months.
