Audrina rocketed to fame as one of the girls on MTV reality show, "The Hills," or as I liked to describe her, "The not-blonde one."
We last saw Audrina with golden locks back in March when she was filming her VH1 reality series, "Audrina." She went back to dark brown strands soon after and just stepped out at an event last night with new ombre highlights. This ombre trend means hair that is darker at the roots and blonder at the ends and has been rocked by Leighton Meester, Rachel Bilson, Drew Barrymore, and Jessica Biel.
Audrina's new 'do is a progression of golden blonde at the roots and gets lighter throughout so that the strands are nearly platinum blonde.
Audrina has previously said she missed being a brunette, "I miss being a brunette. I feel like there are so many blondes in L.A.!" This is very true. Congratulations on over-populating the already crowded blonde race in Los Angeles. I say this as I make an appointment to get my highlights retouched.
Audrina made an appearance at the Sears store at the Los Cerritos mall in Southern, California yesterday debuting her new look. She is currently the spokesperson for the Bongo jeans line and was there to promote the brand.
She tweeted ahead of the event, "Just got to sears...Whose here and ready to shop?? :)"
Audrina was there to meet and greet with her fans and address pesky rumors like "will you continue to do reality TV?"
But Audrina seems to have tired from the reality genre, "I don't know yet, there's been talk, but I don't know. I kind of want to take a break from reality and focus more on scripted work, because I've done it for seven years now, so it's time for a little break."
Audrina also previously said that now that she's SOO OVER reality TV, she told Ryan Seacrest's Kiis FM radio show that there was going to be a movie version of "The Hills," well apparently Audrina probably started that rumor herself.
She told Hollyscoop about the movie rumors, "I feel like I started that rumor cause I did a radio interview or something and I said that there was talk of it when we were filming The Hills. Adam Devalo would always talk about it but I never said that there was going to be a movie, I don't know."
