Avril Lavigne: I Used to Say "Fu*** Fashion"
We know Avril Lavigne as the punky pop singer who once wore arm warmers and excessively used safety pins as an accessory.

Now, the singer-turned-designer has been working on her clothing line Abbey Dawn since she debuted the brand at New York Fashion Week in September 2009. Since then she’s grown into a fashionista-turned-musician, and we love her for her no-fuss take on fashion.

“I can’t believe I’m sitting here talking about fashion,” Lavigne tells Modamob, “It’s kinda weird because I used to be the girl who was like, “F-ck fashion!” but now I have a clothing line and I’ve had it for like four years.”
Avril Lavigne to Launch Sally Hansen Nail Polish Collection
Another day, another celebrity nail polish collaboration, because red nails endorsed by a celebrity are so much better than regular nails, obviously.

Avril Lavigne has teamed up with Sally Hansen’s Salon Effects on a limited edition selection of nail polish strips. Avril, who has her own clothing line, Abbey Dawn, says the nail collection is based on her style and music. So, expect black nails with hot pink highlights and safety pins.

Kylie Jenner Makes Runway Debut at NYFW
Last week it was announced that Kylie Jenner would make her runway debut during NYC's Fashion Week.

The youngest Jenner girl, Kylie, 14, modeled for Avril Lavigne's Abbey Dawn catwalk show. The connection from Kylie to Avril is as follows: Kylie's half-brother Brody Jenner is dating the singer-turned-designer Avril Lavigne, so he probably told Avril to cast his leggy little sis in her catwalk collection.

The runway show was last night and the photos from the event feature Kylie strutting her stuff and the other members of the Kardashian/Jenner clan sitting front row.

Cheering her on from the front row were Kourtney, Kim, her husband Kris Humphries, Brody Jenner and Kendall Jenner who was snapping photos of her little sis all night.
Avril Lavigne to Present her Line Abbey Dawn at NY Fashion Week

Avril Lavigne used to wear mens ties, socks on her arms, and safety pins as earrings. Now she's a fashion designer. Go figure.

Avril will present her latest collection from her Abbey Dawn clothing line at New York Fashion Week on September 12. Abbey Dawn was originally created in collaboration with Kohl's but now the line retails exclusively on her website.

Although the brand consists of zip up hoodies and prints of skulls, somehow this is worthy for New York Fashion Week. Avril says she's so "super honored" to be included in fashion week that she's flying in from Europe just to do the show.

"I've done a fashion show there before and it's, like, kind of a really big deal. I'm on tour in Europe but I made sure I can do it. I have two hours to do it, then I leave. I fly for like 24 hours but it's really important and I'm super honored."
Avril Lavigne From Rocker Chic to Homeless Chic
Avril Lavigne has been hard at work promoting her Abbey Dawn line in Germany.

Earlier today she attended the Bread & Butter fashion show in Berlin in order to promote her line.

Avril was rocking her usual rocker chic look, which basically looks like clothes you will wear while cleaning your house.

Avril Lavigne Ditches Her Grungy Rocker Look
Avril Lavigne is almost unrecognizable in these gorgeous photos from Vanity Fair Italia.

She ditched her grungy rocker girl look and went retro-glam for the 5+page spread--presumably because VF asked her to.

She looked like she turned to Madonna's D&G ads for inspiration, but anything is better than her everyday style.

Her new album "Goodbye Lullaby" hits stores on March 8th, so expect to see a lot of Avril in the next month or so.

What do you think of her VF look? Love it or leave it?

Avril Lavigne Adds Kids Clothing Line to Her Collection
Avril Lavigne's clothing line has been so successful, she's expanding her line to include children's clothing.

Avril knows the majority of her fans are a lot younger than her, so she wants them to be able to dress just like her.

Lavigne even admits some of the kids' pieces are so adorable, she wants to wear them herself: "We have a really cute zebra hoodie with ears, and I'm like, 'Can I fit into the extra large? Because I really like these!'"

She's already launched her own perfume line as well, so it looks like there's no stopping Avril! What do you think about Avril's style? Would you want your daughter or younger sister dressing like her?

The toiletries line will include shower gel, body lotion, body shampoo and bath oil.

Avril Lavigne Debuts Clothing Line At Kohl's
Avril Lavigne is jumpin on the designing bandwagon! She's debuting a new clothing line exclusively for Kohl's. She says the inspiration for the line came right out of her own closet, and it's stuff that she would wear on stage and in regular life.

Avril says, "My music and my clothes are really a reflection of who I am, and it's been really cool to see that resonate with my fans."

Check out the collection in the video.
