Beyonce has been named as the official face of the limited edition “Fashion For Haiti” t-shirt by the Council of Fashion Designers of America. The shirt, which reads: “To Haiti With Love” was designed by Peter Arnell, who also created the “Fashion for America” t-shirt which raised $2 million after 9/11.
Beyonce has leant her support, saying, “Join me and the fashion industry by buying and wearing the Fashion for Haiti T-shirt. Together we can send a message of hope by raising much needed funds for the people of Haiti.”
The shirt, which retails for $25, will hit stores on February 16th, and The CFDA will donate the net proceeds from each T-shirt to the Clinton Bush Haiti Fund. Click here for a full list of retailers who will be selling the shirts.
