Beyonce to Design Maternity Wear?

Beyonce will never let a growing baby bump get in the way of fashion. Since debuting her baby bump in style (grabbing her belly on the red carpet while doing nothing but smiling) Beyonce has still been rocking leotards, short shorts and bikini's but says she finds maternity wear inspiration everywhere.

"All I see now are clothes that are flattering on a pregnant woman," Beyonce tells Harper's Bazaar. Since Beyonce and her mom co-own Beyonce's clothing line, "House of Dereon" this comment leads us to believe that Beyonce might design a range of maternity wear.

"It's been so exciting for me! I love figuring out designs that still make me feel edgy and sexy while pregnant. Flowy fabrics are always flattering, but I still rock my stilettos," says Queen B. She better be careful, that's how Victoria Beckham got a slipped disk, she wore stilettos right up until she popped out Harper Seven, heck she probably wore Louboutin's while in labor. Gotta keep it classy.

Once we put two and two together, we realized that Beyonce has been pregnant during most of her public appearances over the summer. So yah, she wore tiny black briefs while pregnant. Is it bad that Beyonce's pregnant body looks better than most women’s regular bodies?

"I've had so much fun with fashion over the months," she adds. "I have been pregnant through every event I've done, from the Billboard Awards to Glastonbury."

She credits some other famous ladies as her fashion inspirations, “I love Kate Moss. I think she has great style. And I always admire Victoria Beckham and Gisele [Bündchen]. Their style is modern but always classic.”

However, despite how she confidently bares her belly in very little clothing, she says she was very nervous the day she chose to debut the bump at the 2011 VMA's. "I was extremely nervous. It was the toughest red carpet I ever did." After going through nearly 70 dresses she finally settled on the orange Lanvin gown.

Besides the fact that Beyonce loves fashion, "I spend too much money shopping on the Internet!" she jokes, she's also an inspiration for designers.

"She doesn't have the body of a typical model, but she inspires the designers," says her creative director, Jenke-Ahmed Tailly.

"Givenchy is made for Beyoncé," gushes Riccardo Tisci, who designed a couture gown seen in the video for "Run the World [Girls]."

Tisci jokes, "I cannot wait for her to give birth for two reasons. First, because I love her and Jay-Z - they are so happy together - and second, because I want to have goose bumps when I see her back in Givenchy."
