Attention fashion friends and fiends, the “Fashion Oscars” aka the Costume Institute gala in New York will live stream it’s red carpet for the first time ever.

Got a question for any of the attendees? You can tweet at the celebs via Twitter using the hashtag #metquestions, while you watch the carpet live on Amazon.com, Vogue.com, and metmuseum.org.

The carpet goes live on May 7 at 18:30 to 20:30 EST.

Celebs confirmed to be in attendance include Carey Mulligan, Miuccia Prada, and Anna Wintour who are this year’s gala co-chairs.

Carey Mulligan will likely be fielding questions about her pseudo secret wedding to Mumford & Sons frontman Marcus Mumford or about her custom Prada wedding dress and her bizarre choice to pair it with pink rainboots.

The cool thing about the Costume Institute Gala is that top designers bring a model/celebrity to the event as their “date” that they will dress for the night.

Last year’s best dressed included Rihanna in Stella McCartney, Beyonce Knowles in Emilio Pucci, and Diane Kruger in Jason Wu.

This year, designer Joseph Altuzarra will bring indie and fashion darling Lana Del Rey as his guest, while Proenza Shouler’s designers are bringing Australian actress Isabel Lucas.

The gala will celebrate the opening of the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s fashion exhibit at the Costume Institute, which this year highlights Italian designers in a collection titled, “Schiaparelli and Prada: Impossible Conversations.”
