Green Day's Billie Joe Gets His Own Converse Line

Converse has just announced a new shoe in their collection. The shoes are being sold in conjunction with Green Day singer Billy Joe Armstrong.

They’re called 1HUND(RED), and ten percent of the sales will go to the Global Fund to Fight AIDS. Converse has worked with artists in the past, also creating the Kurt Cobain signature shoe and the Ramones shoe.

The sneakers are red, white, and black, which are Armstrong’s favorite colors, and are available for $69.99 in stores now.
