“Savages” premiered in Los Angeles last night and while the film boasts tons of man eye-candy like (Lady Gaga’s boyfriend) Taylor Kitsch, Aaron Johnson, and Benicio Del Toro, the flick is lacking in lady power, meaning the red carpet was a little bare –fashion wise.

Thankfully Blake Lively was there to bring enough glamour for the entire carpet. Heck, Blake could never walk a carpet again and we’d all still be like “remember that dress she wore to The Savages premiere? Perfection.”

Salma Hayek, on the other hand, was a little boring. Let’s get into it.

Blake Lively: Blake chose a figure hugging Zuhair Murad creation. This strapless gown featured a sweetheart bust and intricate black beaded embroidered detail. The dress was all kinds of Jessica-Rabbit meets Grace Kelly. She wore her hair in big voluptuous curls swept over one shoulder and kept her makeup simple with a dark red lip. The overall result is stunning. Blake Lively is flawless.

Salma Hayek: I’m not expecting Salma to even be able to compete with Blake on this carpet, but this “Emerald City” get-up she has on is pretty blah. I’m positive I’ve seen a beauty pageant in this exact same dress. This emerald green gown by Gucci was covered in tons of shimmery beads. She pulled her hair back into a sleek ponytail.
