Bow Wow to Create Sporty Clothing Line

Bow Wow is looking to make a real name for himself in the fashion world. He’s just teamed up with New York Knicks player Stephon Marbury, who already has a clothing line named Starbury. He and Bow Wow will now be collaborating on a new collection for the brand. Bow Wow previously launched his own line named Shago, which was influenced by Diddy’s Sean John line, but this new one will be a little sportier.

Bow Wow and Marbury want this line to be affordable. A statement by their PR reads, Bow Wow is the first entertainer to join forces with the Starbury team. Starbury wanted to partner with Bow Wow in part because of the efforts that he has made to give back to the community throughout his career.

Bow Wow tells AllHipHop.com, "I think families should have a real choice. I want my fans to be able to wear nice shoes and clothing and to also have money in the bank. The smart consumer can have both."

The new collection will feature clothes, shoes, and sneakers for men, women, and children. The collection, which will be both affordable and in line with the latest fashion trends, will be available for sale beginning in November 2009. Consumers will be able to purchase the merchandise at www.starbury.com, www.princebow.com and www.amazon.com.
