Capes:
Gwyneth Paltrow started the cape trend with the white Tom Ford cap gown she wore to the 2012 Oscars. Clearly the trend has caught on.
Lana Del Rey: Lana wore a silver Joseph Altuzarra dress with a black cape. Lana walked the red carpet with the designer, who said the look is the “embodiment of her music.”

This year’s Costume Institute Gala Benefit is celebrating the opening of the Schiaparelli and Prada: Impossible Conversations exhibition and the whole event is co-chaired by Carey Mulligan, Vogue editor Anna Wintour and designer Miuccia Prada
Here are the Best Dressed Stars from the 2012 Met Gala:
Camilla Belle: The young actress looked lovely in a Ralph Lauren Collection ivory tulle beaded dress with champagne python sandals. She looks like she was painted in gold flakes.
Scarlet Johansson: I wish Johansson had put more effort into her hair, but her Dolce & Gabbana dress is ah-mah-zing. This one-of-a-kind gown was made of a bustier embroidered with gold thread and pearls and a nude colored long tulle skirt.

The show took place at the luxe Palm Court of the Plaza Hotel. To no surprise, the collection was filled with beautiful gowns that you will be seeing on the red carpet this upcoming award show season.
“It’s all got a watery, magical feel,” said Chapman when speaking about the show, which seemed to be inspired by mermaids.
Viewing the collection, you will see two of my faves: feathers and sheer chiffon! There was a lot of flappery fringe looks that was also seen on the runway. The first look was modeled by Karen Elson and it was a flappery style dress with beaded fringe.

What I love most about the Coachella Music Festival is the bohemian chic outfits the celebs wear in the heat. We always see them wearing glamorous red carpet gowns, but at this festival it’s all about looking CoaCHIC.
Here’s a rundown of some of my favorite looks of the weekend:
Nicole Richie got a weekend off of mommy duties as she spent time in the desert with her friends. Nicole was seen wearing a cute floral dress and boots. Nicole’s every day style is very bohemian chic so I could see her sporting the same outfit in LA.
Vanessa Hudgens was all about perfecting her bohemian look. She looked like she traveled from Woodstock straight to the Coachella festival. It was very fitting considering she’s been sporting these kinds of looks on the red carpet lately.
Kate Bosworth is Miss Coachella! We see her there every year and I love her look because she always mixes the grungy and bohemian look. Kate was spotted wearing a Topshop American flag tank top with white short shorts.
Katy Perry was spotted at the festival in a D&G cream lace dress from the D&G SS11 runway. She looked great! Katy was all about D&G this weekend as she wore another red D&G gingham 2-piece on Friday.
Camilla Belle’s outfit was not so special, so she spiced it up by wearing cute pink Juicy Couture sandals. I was expecting more from her because she has such amazing style. Better luck next time.
Dita Von Teese got out of her usual gear and put on a colorful dress and some wedges for the festival. Quite different from what were used to seeing, be she managed to still keep her red lipstick.

Camille wore a black suit with a barely there bra like nude top underneath showing off a lot of midriff.
How she managed to make that look classy is beyond me, but she definitely succeeded. She looked hot!
I guess having an amazing body with a great tan is a requirement so don't attempt to mimic the look if you have any sort of rolls on your stomach.

Camilla Belle wore a Gucci Première midnight blue silk sable one shoulder gown with degrade embroidered detail, black satin Première platform pumps with ankle strap and crystal embroidered box clutch.
Kate Beckinsale wore a Gucci Première silk georgette antique white gown draped and embroidered with silver micro bugel beading with metallic silver thread embellished bust and waist detail.
Frida Giannini wore a Gucci Première floorlength strapless gown with draped back detail and embroidered with silver lace and micro palettes and a one of a kind piece from Gucci’s fine jewelry collection: horsebit full pave diamond and cognac topaz earrings.
Lea Seydoux chose a Gucci Première champagne charmeause column gown with micro matt and shiny pale gold sequin degrade embroidery throughout. The gown features cut out sleeve and back detail with bodice encrusted in silver and gold metallic lozenge beading.
Salma Hayekk chose a silk georgette Gucci Première scarlet one shoulder gown with sweeping drape across the waist and hip with red glass bugel beaded embroidered detail, red satin open toe pump and croco clutch.
Aishwarya Rai wore a Gucci one of a kind magenta pleated chiffon twisted halter neck gown open back and full floorlength skirt and silver leather clutch.

A dapper Chris Evans showed up in a black suit, with a matching skinny tie. The star looked great as he came out to support the film.
Camilla Belle took this opportunity to show off her big sexy hair. The starlet, was rocking a much shorter, bouncy do. She paired the great new do with a printed Alexander McQueen dress and some serious bracelets.
Rumer Willis dropped by with some spanking new red hair and Dakota Fanning is growing up right before our eyes. The star looked great in an off the shoulder metallic number. The dress came with pockets, and our advice to Dakota Cakes is to keep her hands where we can see them.

The 70’s are coming back and one actress that's pulling off the hippie look is Hollywood’s latest jewel, Camilla Belle. Last night Camilla hit the premiere of her latest film, 10,000 B.C. looking amazing.
Camilla chose a hot Gucci dress, which was prevailed less than two weeks ago on the catwalks of Milan for Fall 08 Fashion week. Camilla is no stranger to good fashion. You can often see her on best dressed lists in fashion magazines and now Hollyscoop is officially declaring her the Red Carpet Fashionista.
