Carey Mulligan said ‘I Do’ to Mumford & Sons rocker Marcus Mumford on Saturday, and she was anything but a traditional bride.
The adorable actress wore a custom made cream Prada gown, but paired it with pink Wellington rain boots.
Her eight bridesmaids also wore Prada in different shades of blue. You can never go wrong with Prada, ladies.
The intimate ceremony took place at Stream Farm at Bridgwater, Somerset in England and about 200 close friends and family members were in attendance including celeb pals Sienna Miller, Colin Firth and Jake Gyllenhaal. The ceremony was officiated by Mumford’s father. I think my invite got lost in the mail.
Adele sang, Colin gave a speech and mega photographer Rankin was on hand to take pictures of the Big Day, so hopefully one of those pics will leak soon.
So how did the happy couple met? Interestingly enough, they were childhood pen pals in London and reconnected as adults. How cute is that?
They started dating in 2011 and got engaged in August, just six months after they started dating.
Congrats to the happy couple!
