Here’s a rundown of my top 4 favorite looks from the carpet.
Most Playful: It took a few moments to focus after seeing photos of Julianne Hough from the red carpet. She looked so radiant wearing Randi Rahm’s Melissa evening gown. What I loved the most about the dress was that it was backless. Guess all that training has been paying off because her back looked great!
Most Daring: Nicole Kidman looked like she was whipping Keith Urban right before they arrived to the red carpet. Maybe Keith and Nicole are into to S&M thing and all power to them. I loved Nicole’s dominatrix inspired L’Wren Scott Fall 2011 dress. It was quite different from the conservative dresses we usually see Nicole wearing.
Most Elegant: Taylor Swift's dress was my favorite of the night. She was wearing a nude Elie Saab Couture Spring 2010 gown. What I loved about the dress was all the detail with the beading and feathers. She was definitely dressed like a winner!
Favorite Color: Carrie Underwood never disappoints on the red carpet and last night was no exception. Carrie Underwood looked stunning wearing a one-of-a-kind Jean Fares Couture gown. What I loved most about Carrie’s gown was the color. The deep purple full-length gown was embellished with jeweled pockets and featuring a very low cut back.

It was a very important night for Carrie as this movie is her first ever-acting gig that she’s gotten since becoming famous. Basically, either she will become the next Jennifer Hudson or Britney Spears in the acting world.
Carrie walked the blue carpet sporting a beige silk cocktail dress with hand embroidered black lace, tiered skirt and flower detail at the waist from Zuhair Murad’s Spring 2011 Ready-To-Wear Collection.
Carrie looked great at the premiere, but she always looks so put together. The only criticism I have to make is the fact that she didn’t get her nails done. Ladies should always have groomed nails, especially someone like Carrie Underwood who’s walking carpets.
Unfortunately she failed! Her nails looked like they hadn’t been filed in forever with each nail taking a different direction. It was a shame to have that beautiful wedding ring on a finger with ungroomed nails.
Carrie you can call my nail lady Lina, she welcomes walk-ins.

Some handbags are so tiny, I have no idea how celebs fit anything in them! So we went straight to the source to ask celebs…what’s in your purse?
I am pretty sure Paris Hilton or Lindsay Lohan wouldn’t want us to see what kind of powder they’re toting in their clutches…
But funny girl Sara Silverman has nothing to hide. When asked what she keeps in her purse on red carpets she told Hollyscoop, “Gum, two joints, lip gloss and 40 dollars.”
While Sara is puff puff passing, Carrie Underwood plays it safe with just the essentials.
She tell us, “Makeup, phone, mints, money just in case I don't know what I would buy here.”
As for me, I spend so many hours on the carpet that I need my ghetto comfortable flats to walk in because the heels have given me blisters towards the end of the night.
You can see what other stars have in their purses in the video below:

The Golden Globes is one of my favorite carpets to be on because all the celebrities are dressed to impress and the carpet is like a big party. The Moet Champagne being passed out to stars on the carpet definitely helped the mood!
Behind the Scenes Photos From 2011 Golden Globes
Speaking of Moet, I thought I had too much of it at one point and was seeing double! I kept seeing the same colors on the red carpet on different ladies. Green, nude and blush-tone dresses were the big trends this year at the 2011 Golden Globes.
Green is not a common color to see on a red carpet, but last night 4 leading ladies were onthe carpet in their different shades of green.

Carrie Underwood walked the carpet wearing a strapless gray tulle gown by Talbot Runhof and left us all wondering “What the hell was she thinking?”
2010 Country Music Awards Winners List
I was really disappointed because Carrie is usually one of the people I love to see on the carpet because she’s always dressed to impress.
Clearly, that was not the case last night. It wasn’t so much that the dress was a complete disaster, but more the sheen in the fabric made it look like she bought it from a swap meet for $29.99.

Am I being too harsh? What did you guys think of Carrie’s dress?

This is Carrie’s first beauty contract, and it’s also the first celebrity Olay has ever teamed up with. Funny enough, Underwood says she’s already been using their products for “at least a decade now.”
Carrie said in a statement, “As a little girl I remember my mom always using the original Olay Beauty Fluid and encouraging my sisters and I to take care of our skin. I love that Olay has managed to change with the times, yet stay in touch with women of all ages who want affordable skin care products that do what they promise.”
Carrie will appear in print and television ads for Olay’s “Challenge What’s Possible” campaign, scheduled to debut later this year.
We love this collaboration! Olay is actually a favorite brand here at Hollyscoop. It’s high-end without breaking the bank! And their products really do work!

Murad, a Beirut based Lebanese designer always had aspirations of being a designer. "Ever since I was a child, I used to imagine designs for imaginary clients. I have always loved to work in the word of luxury and design...As my country in well known for its natural beauty...that expertise...made me fall into the world of haute couture," said Murad.
Murad opened his first atelier in Beirut in 1995 but his debut in 2001 at Paris’ Haute Couture Fashion Week launched his career and soon enough, his line caught the eye of the world’s fashion elite.
Zuhair Murad also contributed his expertise to Spanish retailer, by creating Mango by Zuhair Murad. The world’s most impressionable fashionistas and Hollywood starlets alike favor his high end and ready to wear lines.
His fabrics are luxurious so it’s no surprise that Hollywood Royalty is obsessed with his masterpieces. Eva Longoria Parker was spotted last week in a dress from Zuhair Murad’s 2010 resort line at the Latin Grammy Awards in Las Vegas and she looked absolutely stunning.
Miley Cyrus is a huge Zuhair fan; she rocked a gorgeous gown that was straight off the runway to the Grammy’s which helped give her style a more mature twist on the red carpet. She looked more like a gorgeous Hollywood starlet in a Murad gown than the usual teenybopper we’re familiar with.
Paris Hilton, Kim Kardashian, Carrie Underwood, Beyonce, Shakira, Christina Aguilera use Zuhair as their go to guy for red carpet event stunners. His frocks are always sure to land these leading ladies on the best-dressed list and there is no doubt that Zuhair Murad is Hollywood’s next favorite designer.

Perhaps taking a cue from Taylor or picking up on what seems to be the trend of the year, Carrie Underwood was exceptionally frothy in a pale pink one-shouldered gown.
Nicole Kidman hit Las Vegas with not a line on her face, but some pretty serious threads. The L'Wren Scott embroidered gown was extremely conservative in the front, but when she turned around she showed off a completely bare back.
Miley Cyrus looked refined in a Monique Lhuillier gown. The dress was definitely a tasteful look for the evening.
Kellie Pickler sure picked a dress last night. The country crooner was dripping in gold in a Zuhair Murad gown. We loved her look and thought she was one of the best-dressed ladies of the night.
LeAnn Rimes showed up to the award show, rocking a short cocktail dress sans her husband.
That’s your ACM wrap-up, we will see ya'll next year!

The photos, which were shot by famed photographer Annie Leibovitz, will appear in magazines such as Vogue, Elle, Instyle, and Harper’s Bazaar in their April issue.
When asked about the campaign, Carrie says, “I love Badgley Mischka for not only making the most beautiful gowns, but also for bringing together such strong, amazing women to celebrate 20 years of glamour and fashion. I am thrilled to be part of their special anniversary.”
Eva also spoke about the brand and her experience shooting the campaign saying, “Badgley Mischka is an iconic brand and to be able to celebrate their twentieth anniversary with them is an honor for me.”
All the ladies look great, but Carrie Underwood’s dress stands out! Let’s hope she decides to wear that on the red carpet one of these days!

Taylor Swift: Tay Tay Swift resembled a Grecian Goddess as she strolled the carpet in a long black Kaufman Franco gown. We loved that she punched it up in a patent leather black belt.
Jordin Sparks: The American Idol winner gambled on a bold print for the night’s event and it paid off! She looked elegant and age appropriate at the same time.
Kim Kardashian: Kim looked great in a short fashion forward dress by Maticevski . Sporting simple hair and Christian Louboutin shoes, she made this look really work.
Leona Lewis: Her heart may have been bleeding love, but her style was looking real good The British sensation looked great in a champagne Randi Rahm Couture gown.
Katy Perry: Katie finally stayed away from the feathers, and excessive sequins and looked great in this Bubble Gum Basil Soda pink gown.
Carrie Underwood: Carrie dazzled in this gold, and champagne Zuhair Murad dress. She looked age appropriate, without looking over the top!
But all these very well dressed ladies could not save two drama queens who looked less then put together last night. Miley Cyrus was sporting a long one-shoulder Herve Leger by Max Azria gown. The dress looked like her mom made it and was adorned with a ridiculous flower circa Sex And The City Season Three.
And then there was Paula Abdul. There's just no winning for Paula! She's a lost cause. See you all next year!!!
