Audrey Hepburn: Most Popular Hairstyle of All Time
Audrey Hepburn’s 1961 up-do from “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” was voted “most influential” haircut of all time.

The timeless French hairstyle is the most requested ‘do’ in salons in the UK. Recent Poll of Hairdressing Council members place Hepburn’s cut at the top of the list followed by Marilyn Monroe’s sultry platinum waves and Twiggy’s androgynous crop a close third.

Even cartoons made the list. Disney’s Ariel placed 4th with her animated red mane. Whatever, not like her hair looked that billowy when she stepped onto dry land.

Despite the insane popularity of “Friends” during the 90’s, Jennifer Aniston’s signature hairstyle from the hit show only made the list at #5. Women raced to their nearest Fantastic Sams trying to explain this haircut they could only describe as “The Rachel.” However, according to Jen Aniston herself, it was “the ugliest haircut I’ve ever seen.” Way to offend every female that used a blow dryer during 1996.

Placing below Aniston is Victoria Beckham’s popular Bob, affectionately titled “The Pob.” Careful though, this haircut can easily be butchered by a novice hairstylist and you will come out looking like the love child of Tilda Swinton and Justin Bieber.

Other cuts making the list, Rihanna’s fiery red crop and Demi Moore’s buzz cut from GJ Jane.

Some of the worst haircuts over the years? Big bird. Alfalfa. Marge Simpson’s beehive.
