Celebs Rock the Updated Side Braid

Every season there is one hairstyle that celebs love to rock on the red carpet. The side braid is one of those trends that has stuck around since last summer.

Last year, celebs like Nicole Richie, Selena Gomez were rocking the side braid on the red carpet and during the day while running errands. And now that summer has rolled around again, so has the trend.

The only difference is that Side Braid 2011 is a bit messier than the Side Braid 2010.

Blake Lively attended the red carpet for the Green Lantern sporting a really messy do. It was so messy that I didn't even notice the braid until examining the photo.

Alicia Keys also rocked a similar the look last night at the 2011 BET Awards sporting a messy and puffy side braid.

If you want to get this look just think messy! You don't want a clean looking braid. After all, you are not 10 anymore!
