Christian Louboutin Sent His Entire Spring Collection to Blake Lively
So there’s New York Fashion Week, Paris Fashion Week and now there’s Blake Lively Fashion Week.

Blake Lively just announced that she gets the Christian Louboutin Spring collection delivered to her house ahead of New York Fashion Week.

Who does Blake have to sleep with for this to happen? The mailman? The guy who puts the shoes into boxes? This is unreal.
Christian Louboutin Reveals 20th Anniversary Capsule Collection
Let’s get some shoes!

Footwear guru Christian Louboutin is launching a capsule collection of extraordinary new shoes to celebrate the 20th anniversary of his label.

"In France, 20 years defines a generation," Louboutin said. "This is a celebration of the first generation of this brand; an anniversary of its first young adventure."

The collection is not yet available for purchase, but the Christian Louboutin Facebook page shows the full range of what you can expect. With 26 pieces, including 20 shoes and six bags, the collection is inspired by what Marie Claire magazine calls “a mixture of cabaret, travel and architecture,” all of which come together to form the iconic themes Christian’s design.

Blake Lively Says Louboutin Handpicks Her Shoes
I’m jealous. When Blake Lively wants to wear Louboutin heels she just emails Christian Louboutin himself like, “Yo, I’m wearing skinny jeans and this red top. What shoes do you want to give me?” and then Christian goes through his epic shoe warehouse and gives her shoes. So so so jealous.

Blake tells the most recent issue of Elle, “When I’m going to an event, I’ll send Christian a picture of my outfit and say, ‘What shoes do you think I should wear with this?’”
Christian Louboutin Opening Men's Store in NYC
Did you know that Christian Louboutin made men's shoes? Well, he does, and while it's only a small budding portion of the great Louboutin juggernaut, he's ready to open his second men's store in New York.

The mens shoes include flamboyant high-top'd sneakers and also some very sleek dress shoes. Mostly they are worn by Kanye West and maybe the cast of The A-List: New York. However, as of yet, Louboutin shoes for men don't really hold the same cultural jealousy that the women's shoes do.
Christian Louboutin Won't Give His Shoes As Gifts
I feel so bad for Christian Louboutin’s family. The most sought after shoes in the world are a pair of those iconic red soled heels and not even Christian Louboutin’s family gets free pairs. That sucks.

He says he wont give them as gifts because he says the recipients think he didn’t try hard enough, that gifting Louboutin’s is “too easy.” Who’s complaining? Who are these insane people that turn down free Louboutins?

“It depends on who it is but I never, or barely, give shoes to my family during the holidays. They're always like, 'Oh my God, you really took no effort to do that,' so I'm like, fair enough, you won't get any shoes,” says the designer.
Blake Lively: It's Embarrassing How Many Louboutin Shoes I Have
Blake Lively owns so many pairs of Christian Louboutin shoes that she’s embarrassed by it.

Apparently the Gossip Girl actress will buy up 40 pairs of Louboutin shoes at one time. That’s not embarrassing, that’s something rappers call “balling out of control” and it is awesome.

Because Lively is so obsessed with Christian Louboutin heels, she was at Barney’s in New York on Tuesday to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the brand and the Louboutin book launch party.
Christian Louboutin Explains Why Women Wear Painfully High Heels
Christian Louboutin: Those red soles! We all have a love hate relationship with them. We love them because they are so fabulous, but we hate them because of the pain it causes once we have them on.

Christina Louboutin himself has finally explained why his heels are so uncomfortable. Ok, he hasn’t really explained why his shoes are uncomfortable in particular, but he’s explained why high heels are uncomfortable in general.

He explained to the Sunday Times newspaper: "There is an element of seduction in shoes that doesn't exist for men. Think about Marlene Dietrich crossing her legs - the whole attitude. The language starts with the shoe and radiates over the whole body. A woman can be sexy, charming, witty or shy with her shoes. Shoes for men are about elegance or wealth; they are not playing with the inner character.
37-Year Old Kate Moss Walks Louis Vuitton Fashion Show and Launches Jewelry Line
Kate Moss is causing havoc in Paris.

The 37-year-old British supermodel just walked the runway for Louis Vuitton's Spring/Summer 2012 runway collection for Paris Fashion Week. While 37-years-old is so far past retirement for most models, Kate Moss will be pushing a walker down the runway when she's 85, puffing on an electronic cigarette and wearing a LBD with plunging neckline like it's no big deal.

Kate closed out the Marc Jacobs designed LV show last night in a white laser-cut feathered mini-dress. She wowed audiences proving that yep, Kate Moss has still got it. The catwalk wrapped itself around a sparkling white carousel while famous faces like Uma Thurman, Alexa Chung, Rachel Zoe, Olivia Wilde, Nicole Richie and Anna Wintour sat front row.
Christian Louboutin Museum Exhibit Opening in England
It doesn't take much to get a museum in your honor these days. There are museums full of wax statues of celebrities; even those weird scientologists have their own museum in Hollywood.

Now, Christian Louboutin is to get a Museum Exhibition in his honor. Louboutin heels are worn by literally ever celebrity and one can always spot a Louboutin shoe by their bright red undersoles. They are shoes that us, normal girls, probably might own one pair in our lifetime, but we all know a Louboutin when we see one.

The French shoe designer's long career will be the focus of a new exhibition on display at the British capital's Design Museum from March 28 to July 1, 2012. Since the launch of his label in 1991, Louboutin's mission statement has been "to make shoes that are like jewels."

The exhibit will showcase his life's work but will also have insight into how he creates shoes, his influences etc.
Christian Louboutin Is After Christian Dior For Red Soles
Christian Louboutin takes his red soles very seriously…as he should.

Louboutin is seeking a court order to keep competitors from using red soles after he found out that Christian Dior was planning on releasing a collection with red soles.
