Christian Louboutin Is After Christian Dior For Red Soles

Christian Louboutin takes his red soles very seriously…as he should.

Louboutin is seeking a court order to keep competitors from using red soles after he found out that Christian Dior was planning on releasing a collection with red soles.

Court papers were filed on Tuesday which claimed that a private investigator spoke with a sales clerk at a New York Dior store who spilled the beans that Dior "is planning to make red-soled shoes with matching uppers for the next season."

"A flood of red soles in high-fashion women's footwear creates the danger that Louboutin's good will, market prominence and fame will be destroyed," the court filing stated.

If this story sounds familiar that’s because Louboutin went after Yves Saint Laurent a few months back for the same reason.

It’s so stupid for high-end designers to make shoes with red soles. That is Christian Louboutins thing and it just looks silly when a label like Dior would stoop so low to copy the French shoe designer. Just let Louboutin have the red sole damn it!
