The Academy Awards are right around the corner and the what every fashionista wants to know is what to expect on the Oscar red carpet. Every year there seems to be a color theme or style that all the leading ladies abide by, and this year is going to be no different.

Red carpet designer Christiane King, who has dressed some of Hollywood's leading ladies, gives us the scoop on what we can expect this Oscar Sunday and who will steal the show.

In regards to color themes, King tells Hollyscoop she hopes to see "lots of colors, teals, purples and rich magentas. I'm all about colors they just adds so much to life," but wait there's more! "I [also] want to see bold jewelry, it's a great accent to any simple flowing dress," she added.

When it comes to star style, King has her favorites. "I think Eva Longoria is always stunning on the red carpet and Eva Mendes always looks awesome as well. You know who I am looking forward to seeing and I hope is there is Jada Pinkett Smith. I think she is such a strong woman and makes very bold decisions," said King.

King knows a thing or two about the red carpet having dressed dozens of stars and her new collection is certainly a reflection of who she is. "My new collection was inspired by my love for nature and art," King tells Hollyscoop.

The Côte d'Ivoire (Ivory Coast) born designer adds, "Where I come from where nature is all around. I decided to really dig deep and get closer to my roots and combine nature with art. I love roses and Calla Lilies so I decide to use the organic nature of those flowers to add volume and dimension in my dresses. I think it worked out very well."

This young ambitious designer studied fashion for four years before launching her first collection in 2006 and she's quickly become one of the most sought after red carpet designers. Keep your eyes peeled for King's designs this Oscar Sunday and every red carpet from here on out.
