Christina Hendricks Wants Longer Lashes

Christina Hendricks wants to plump up her eyelashes.

The red headed sexy secretary on “Mad Men” is adding spokesperson to her resume.

Hendricks will be the new face of eyelash thickener brand Latisse.

Hendricks talks about her need to have luscious lashes in the acting biz, “Because of my profession, I end up wearing a lot of makeup and false eyelashes. I’ve noticed a wear on my lashes and that they’ve become thin.”

Latisse is not your grocery store brand of mascara claiming to grow your lashes. According to Hendricks, “I’ve been using the product for one month and in the last three to five days I’ve noticed extra length. I’m excited to see my results in 12 weeks.”

Latisse is also teaming up with the Make-A-Wish Foundation to encourage people to donate to the foundation through the Latisse Wishes Challenge, which Hendricks will front.

They will match any donation and give the donor a free Latisse gift certificate in the hopes of reaching their $500,000 goal for the charity.

Hendricks is becoming a sex symbol in her own right but she hopes that with her new eyelashes she can look a little more like her beauty idols, “I know it’s a little trite because every girl says it but I would say Marilyn Monroe and Mia Farrow – they looked amazing. And Faye Dunaway. I’m into old-school beauty because I like vintage style.”
