The second annual Critics’ Choice Television Awards took place in Hollywood last night and a host of televisions finest faces parading down the red carpet.
Christina Hendricks: The actress wore some kind of black lace boring granny dress with, is that a cheetah print slip underneath? Yikes. I like her “Mad Men” fashion better than her red carpet style.
Hayden Panettiere: It’s been a long time since Hayden Panettiere stepped onto a red carpet anywhere, so it was nice to see her looking good on the carpet. She wore a pretty aqua mini dress with flutter sleeves and side cutouts.
Sarah Hyland: The young actress made a valiant effort in a champagne colored Collette Dinnigan dress. This one-shouldered dress featured beaded detailing diagonally spread across the bodice. It was cute and age appropriate for the “Modern Family” star.
Julie Bowen: It ‘aint a red carpet without some Marchesa. Bowen wore this less-than-satisfactory gunmetal strapless gown with a giant bow/flower contraption on the bodice.
Regina King: The “Homeland” star was the only star that truly wowed me at this carpet. She wore a sexy red lace one-shoulder Romona Keveza dress with matching peep toes.
Busy Philipps: Noticeably absent was her usual red-carpet wing woman, Michelle Williams, so Philipps stole the spotlight in a black Michael Kors gown with plunging neckline.
Emmy Rossum: Dressing just like a winning statuette, the “Shameless” actress wore a distracting gold gown by Donna Karan. It was one shouldered, featured draping on the bodice and had a kind of side train that came out of the hip. Also, it was gold. Yikes!
