Rock N Rolla At Paris Fashion Week

Paris fashion week is well underway and one designer that is leaving his footprints on the Parisian catwalk is Christophe Decarnin. The designer unveiled his Spring 2009 collection for Balmain this week in the fashion capital.

The collection was fit for any rock star or pop princess. The line had an 80’s punk feel with the stonewash jeans and sequin-smothered sheaths. Our favorite items included the drummer boy jackets, which made us reminiscent of Michael Jackson’s costume from the 80’s, to bandage-wrap dresses that could have been in Madonna’s closet in the 80’s.

The Balmain Spring collection is going to be a big hit in Hollywood, we can see singer Rihanna sporting some of the dresses, as well as Britney Spears, well pre- breakdown era that is.
