Claudia Schiffer Dressed to the Nines For School Run
June 10, 2011 by: KRISTIN WONG

In London on Friday, Schiffer picked up her son, Casper, and daughter, Clementine, looking more put together than I do when I’m actually going somewhere of significance. Schiffer wore a black, long sleaved sweater, gray skinny jeans, and tall, beige wedges. She completed the look with a brown leather bag and belt.
Ironically, Schiffer said in an interview in this month’s Harper’s Bazaar UK:
“You can’t be too over-dressed or too sexy on the school run. It’s about being practical and comfortable.”
If her definition of “comfortable” is four inch heels, her definition of “uncomfortable” must be waterboarding.
Schiffer is launching her own line of luxe knitwear later on this year.
“It’s the first time I have put my name to something. I feel very confident, but also very nervous," she admits. "Who knew? Maybe it will just be me, the only person in the whole world who likes it.”
She obviously has an eye for fashion, so I doubt that’ll be the case.
“I’ve worked far too long in the fashion industry that I could just sell out," Claudia continued. "I always knew I wanted to do something that I would love myself, something to be proud of. I’ve had a lot of friends who said I was insane. But for me, it’s not just about the money."
