Gwyneth Paltrow in New Coach Ad Campaign
While most high fashion brands are going with super young faces to front their brands (i.e. Mila Kunis for Dior and Ashley Greene for DKNY) Coach has gone with an old standard for their spokesmodel... Gwyneth Paltrow.

While I think Paltrow would hate that I called her an "old standard," you can't deny that she, like Coach, is timeless, ageless, and beloved by people over the age of 33. C'mon, Coach knows it's place in the marketplace, it's a "ladies" brand.
Gwyneth Paltrow's Coach Ad Campaign Released
And the ads are out!

A few months back, we reported that Gwyneth Paltrow was the new face of Coach and now the ad campaign was released.

The pics look fantastic. Coach really picked the right celebrity to endorse their brand.

Another Model Out of a Job Thanks to Gwyneth Paltrow

New book, new singing career, new modeling gig, it’s safe to say that Gwyneth Paltrow’s career is on fire right now.

Paltrow has signed on to be the face of Coach for its international campaign.

“I grew up in New York City and I’ve always thought of Coach as the quintessential New York brand,” Paltrow tells WWD. “I’ll never forget getting my first Coach bag.”

This job should be pretty easy for Gwynnie as she has plenty of modeling experience. She’s been the face or Tod’s and Christian Dior in the past.

Coach president and creative director Reed Krakoff says Paltrow is "a natural choice…She embodies the spirit, energy and elegance of the Coach brand."

It seems as if Coach is taking the celebrity route as well, which means another model is out of a possible job. Gwyneth’s ads will launch sometime in September.

Michelle Trachtenberg to Design Jewelry for Coach
Gossip Girl cutie Michelle Trachtenberg has signed a new deal with handbag designer Coach. But she’s leaving the baggage behind and focusing on jewelry.

According to WWD, Michelle will be creating a new collection of jewelry for the brand’s Poppy line. It will feature costume jewelry, and will include colorful crystals, faux pearls, and intricate hardware to attract Coach’s younger customers.

This is Trachtenberg's second foray into the accessories world. In 2006, she launched a line called Bella, a line of one-of-a-kind pieces made with semi-precious stones. The new collection will be available in the spring.
