D'Amore by Marceau Heats Up Miami
It’s bikini season, ladies! And this summer, it’s time to up your game in the suit department. Luckily, Hollyscoop has the inside scoop on what hot this summer in bathing suits.

Caroline D’Amore’s joint venture with Laurent Planeix D’Amore by Marceau are the must-have suits of the season. Caroline and Laurent jetted to Miami last week to present their Best of Summer collection at the gorgeous Setai Hotel in South Beach.

The fashion show was hosted by two of the hottest fashionistas on TV, Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian, and will be featured on an upcoming episode of their new show, Khloe and Kourtney Take Miami.

The sisters hosted the evening’s events, which featured three models, which they like to call “Dash Dolls,” who modeled the swimwear. The entire collection is available at dashonline.com

The South Beach event was so popular that nearly 700 people got turned away at the door! The hot bikinis were accented by the latestdesigns from Michael Antonio Footware, while other sponsors included DASH, JetSet Charter, IFW and Funkshion in an unforgettable event produced by H Squared Concepts. Hair and make-up looks were performed by artists from famed Miami-based salon Rocco Donna.

Boys and Girls get ready to strip your clothes, Spring Break has arrived and so has that bikini body! What better place to kick off this swimsuit season than the hot, sultry beaches of Miami! That was exactly what fashionista, Caroline D’Amore thought about when she showed off her swimwear line, D’Amore by Marceau during Rock Fashion in Miami.

Socialite turned-model-turned-actress-turned-fashion designer, Caroline teamed up with head Marceau designer, Laurent Planeix to launch a premium swimwear line of bathing suits and beach/lounge wear. Hollywood’s fashion elite, Paris Hilton, Kim Kardashian and Eva Longoria have already caught some rays in a D’Amore suit and now it’s our turn!

Laurent and Caroline took their sexy swimwear to the catwalk for their second year at Rock Fashion week in Miami and Hollyscoop was front and center.

When designing the line, D’Amore was Laurent’s muse, he said “Caroline was the inspiration”. The catwalk was filled with hard bodies wearing bold patterns “pretty much lots of color for this summer,” Laurent explained.

Caroline is thrilled about the line and couldn’t wait to show it off, “lots of color and very like retro kind of punk as well .. you can wear these suits with sneakers or high heels, I just wanted something original.”

The collection brings fashion forward designs to the beach and there’s something for all shapes and sizes. The line is filled with vibrant colors, hot metallic shades, variations of wild zebra prints and skimpy bikini’s. The one-piece is also part of the collection, with innovative cutaway shapes, which reveal the stomach, and some slightly conservative pieces with a single shoulder strap. Finally a swimsuit line that is fashionable, affordable and sexy! the shoes the girls on the runway were wearing was by Michael Antonio shoes.

Laurent and Caroline didn’t forget about the boys, they can get there “sexy on” with a D’Amore as well. D’Amore by Marceau created form fitted, fashion forward trunks that really tell the ladies “I’m confident” and have style.

Hollyscoop caught up with the girls at the D’Amore by Marceau fashion show at Los Angeles Fashion week where they gave us the secret behind their great looks.

D'Amore by Marceau Debuts Spring 09 Collection
Model-turned-actress-turned-fashion designer Caroline D'Amore presented her Spring 2009 D’Amore by Marceau collection to a packed house on Tuesday at Mercedes Benz LA Fashion Week.

Unfortunately Caroline was on set shooting for a movie so her design partner Laurent Planeix had to present the show without his leading lady.

Hollyscoop caught up with Laurent backstage to get the scoop on his collection and what we can expect from the line. "Lot of D'Amore. You're gonna see a lot of sublimation technique printing, which is pretty much on stretch spandex and satin fabric. I did sublimation print of Caroline D'Amore and some photoshoots that I've done. I transformed the pictures and put them on it," said Laurent. "Lots of strong colors," he added.

Kim and Kourtney Kardashian came out to support their good friend Caroline's line, even if she was absent. "We're gonna make sure it's all under control," joked Kim.

Caroline D'Amore Hits Funkfashion

Hollywood socialite/ actress turned designer Caroline D’Amore made her debut in Miami with her swimsuit collection D’Amore by Marceau.

L.A’s hot line Marceau, by designer Laurent Planeix and D’Amore, who collaborated on the Swimwear collection closed out Funkshion in Miami. The collection is a favorite among Hollywood’s elite including Paris Hilton.

The collection featured the latest premium men’s and women’s denim collection, casuals and of course the dazzling and sexy swimsuits. The clothing was accessorized by Gergé Watches and Michael Antonio Shoes.

The front row was filled with glamorous VIPs and celebrities such as Russell Simmons, Mena Suvari (with her beau concert promoter Simone Sestito), British Actress Kirsten Lea, Lady Victoria Hervey and numerous others. Afterwards the parties set the town ablaze from P Diddy’s Star Island Mega-Mansion, to private Yachts and clubs to the wee hours of the morning.
