David Beckham Designing Underwear For H&M
David Beckham is designing his own line of “Bodywear” which is fancy code for “underwear” at H&M.

After launching successful fragrances and collaborating on an underwear line with Armani, the metro-styling soccer star thought, “I can do that!”

“Over the past year, I’ve been developing my Bodywear range with my team and I’m extremely positive about what we have designed and produced. The final piece in the jigsaw was a retail partner who has the vision and capability to distribute these products globally.”

And Beckham found that partner with H&M. Pro’s about this partnership: More photos of David Beckham in his underwear plastered on billboards. Cons: Your boyfriend wont look like Beckham when he wears the underwear and the comparison will make it even more depressing.

Beckham announced the bodywear line in May, “I have had the idea of doing a bodywear collection for some time now. The push to do something of my own really came as a result of my collaboration with Armani.”

The line will become available in February in 40 countries and 1,800 stores.

“This partnership with H&M is an important step in the evolution of David’s journey from sporting hero to entrepreneur and icon,” says David’s long-term business partner.

Beckham ads, “I can’t wait to show people the collection – although I’m not sure my mum will be too happy seeing a billboard image of me in underwear again.”

She’ll be fine. Now, what were we talking about? Oh right, Beckham in his underwear…
