Diane von Furstenberg is known for her iconic wrap dress and during her runway show at New York Fashion week she debuted the “wrap jumpsuit.”

Proving that a wrap never goes out of style and looks great on any figure, DVF reinvented the old wrap dress into a series of jumpsuits, one as a halter in pomegrante and teal, another in pale pink and paired with a long burgundy trenchcoat, and another as a one sleeved romper in teal and black.

The show was titled “Rendezvous” which was meant to describe that sensation of needing to look fabulous at a moments notice, or as DVF says, “a meeting with suspense and expectation.” Basically, when fashion calls, will you be ready? I'm sure fancy rich ladies have this problem all the time.

The collection embodies that jet-setting and impulsive nature of fashion with a collection full of bright colors like lime green, fuchsia, teal paired with quirky prints in stars, puzzles pieces, repeating keyhole patterns and lots of sequins.

The designer did not cut corners on accessories either, each look was accented with clutches with lip-shaped clasps, heart-shaped miniaudieres, leather elbow length gloves, and ankle strap pumps.

Also, it doesn’t hurt that the front row of the show was a who’s who of everyone in fashion, music, TV, and pop culture.

Stars like Solange Knowles, Molly Sims, Barbara Walters, Oscar de la Renta, and even Anderson Cooper came out for the veteran designers fashion week show.
