Imagine a printed wrap dress on a 3-year-old…it’s the cutest thing ever.

Diane von Furstenberg has teamed up with retailer the Gap for a mini collection of her DVF staples.

She launched the collection at the Gap store at The Grove in LA and all of Hollywood’s celeb mommies turned out with their kids. Mommy-to-be Molly Sims was there, actress Milla Jovovich turned up with daughter Ever, Busy Phillips was there with daughter Birdie, and Alyson Hannigan was there buying stuff for her soon-to-be baby and her daughter Satyana.

The collection is for girls only and ranges in sizes from newborn to age fourteen. The collection features iconic DVF prints, her famous silhouettes and a bold and fun color palette.

As Diane herself put it, “I am thrilled to collaborate with Gap on this playful collection for girls. It is timeless…colorful…effortless. That is very DVF!”

This is Diane’s first kids collection, “I used to say no to doing kids collections because I wanted little girls to grow up, but this is so fun and happy and I like the optimism of it.”

The launch party itself was pretty spectacular. There was balloon art, paper doll crafts, a miniature petting zoo, a railroad, and a special runway for the girls to show off their new DVF purchases on the catwalk.
