The Dita Von Teese "Muse" collection will be sold exclusively through Australian retailer David Jones and will allow shoppers to steal her ladylike look.
The limited edition collection is only five pieces but includes "vintage-inspired dresses and tulle layered trench coat."
A tulle layered layered trench coat? That sounds completely non functional.

She's developing a fragrance because a) that's what you do when you achieve certain levels of fame and b) because she doesn't think other celeb fragrances are that good.
She describes the scent as “There's no fruit vanilla bullsh-t. I'm sorry, but you know what I mean? A lot of celebrity fragrances are fruit, vanilla and I wanted something for grown-up girls.”

What I love most about the Coachella Music Festival is the bohemian chic outfits the celebs wear in the heat. We always see them wearing glamorous red carpet gowns, but at this festival it’s all about looking CoaCHIC.
Here’s a rundown of some of my favorite looks of the weekend:
Nicole Richie got a weekend off of mommy duties as she spent time in the desert with her friends. Nicole was seen wearing a cute floral dress and boots. Nicole’s every day style is very bohemian chic so I could see her sporting the same outfit in LA.
Vanessa Hudgens was all about perfecting her bohemian look. She looked like she traveled from Woodstock straight to the Coachella festival. It was very fitting considering she’s been sporting these kinds of looks on the red carpet lately.
Kate Bosworth is Miss Coachella! We see her there every year and I love her look because she always mixes the grungy and bohemian look. Kate was spotted wearing a Topshop American flag tank top with white short shorts.
Katy Perry was spotted at the festival in a D&G cream lace dress from the D&G SS11 runway. She looked great! Katy was all about D&G this weekend as she wore another red D&G gingham 2-piece on Friday.
Camilla Belle’s outfit was not so special, so she spiced it up by wearing cute pink Juicy Couture sandals. I was expecting more from her because she has such amazing style. Better luck next time.
Dita Von Teese got out of her usual gear and put on a colorful dress and some wedges for the festival. Quite different from what were used to seeing, be she managed to still keep her red lipstick.

Gaultier left very little to the imagination with the sequined corset that Dita wore as she proudly walked the runway. The girls got some serious confidence.
The reason for the sexy ensemble was to show off the new collaboration between Gaultier and lingerie designer La Perla.
After the show Dita Tweeted: “That was quite a haute couture moment…Cinched to the max by Mr. Pearl for the Jean Paul Gaultier show!”
The one-off collection will be available in November in selected department stores, retailing at about $700, which is probably more than what you or I will ever pay for lingerie.
Dita, Katy Perry, Estelle, Cyndi Lauper, and rap group N.E.R.D. have all created one-of-a-kind t-shirts for the Fashion Against AIDS campaign to raise awareness.
N.E.R.D.’s tees read, “Use Your Brain,” while Estelle’s says, “Life Is Too Short. Have Sex. Be Safe.” But our favorite has to be Cyndi Lauper’s, which reads: “Girls Just Wanna Have Safe Sex.”
The shirts will go on sale at H&M on May 28th and proceeds will go to helping HIV and AIDS awareness campaigns.

The party was hosted by Mary J. and Catherine Malandrino. Malandrino has been infusing many red carpet events with her jaw dropping french fashion for over ten years now...so a Hollywood boutique was just a matter of time.
Fashion scoopers may remember Malandrino making a cameo last year on Project Runway as a guest judge. No judging was needed yesterday because guests like Rosario Dawson, Maria Menounos, and Dita Von Teese looked amazing in the designers elegant creations. Se magnifique we say!

Although guests had to wait an hour for the show to start, Westwood delivered with her gold rush. The trends for Spring 2009 spotted on the catwalk included plaid and metallics.
In true Vivienne fashion she sent out topless models to entertain some audience members and make a statement to others. For the most part, Vivienne was seeing gold since the color dominated the catwalk.

She says, "It's a really fun film and represents a stripped down but exaggerated version of my real life. I was a little blonde growing up in a farming community, there wasn't a lot of glamour there and I felt very ordinary and plain. Lingerie is one of the things that came into play when I was starting to create my own mystique and glamour."

Dita, who drew inspiration from the '40s and ’50s said: “I am very proud of the lingerie that I’ve created for Wonderbra, because it has all the beautiful detail of sexy, sensual and glamorous lingerie, but the fit is perfect to wear under your everyday clothes.

Dita can make a potato sack look good, so it’s no wonder ‘Wonderbra’ wanted to team up with her. The best part is the undies have a quick-release clasps. That should be fun to experiment with!
