Following in the footsteps of Hollywood elite like Scarlett Johansson and Felicity Jones and Italian supermodel Monica Bellucci, Dolce & Gabbana has dug their newest spokesmodel out of the closet of an old Victoria’s Secret show.
Former VS Angel and ‘90s model Laetitia Casta is the new face of Dolce & Gabbana’s latest fragrance Pour Femme.
Laetitia must be staging a comeback, she was all the rage in the late 90’s and 2000’s but simmered down because she’s over-the-hill for the modeling world and has big boobs. Youth and flat-chestedness are two of the most coveted things in the modeling world, except the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Shows, you can be 30 with a kid and they’ll still want you.
“Laetitia has always bewitched us with her sensual and natural charisma: she is the perfect interpretation of the Dolce & Gabbana woman of today,” says Domenico and Stefano.
The L’Oreal spokesperson for over 10 years was shot for the Dolce & Gabbana ad by Mario Testino who said working with Laetitia was like creating a “scene of fairytale romance in the Italian tradition.”
The fragrance is already available at Harrods and will hit stores nationwide on August 22nd, 2012.
