Kristen Stewart, Nikki Reed, Ashley Greene Stun on the Black Carpet at Twilight: Breaking Dawn Premiere

The event of the year took place in Hollywood last night and the leading ladies did not disappoint on the black carpet.

And if you haven’t caught on by now, I’m talking about the Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 1 premiere.

Nikki, Ashley and Kristen were all rocking the long gowns as they should have since it was their big night.

Kristen Stewart always proves that she cleans up well on big red carpets. That or her stylist really cleans her up.

Kristen was rocking a J. Mendel Spring 2012 iris and black sequin belted column dress. J. Mendel happens to be one of Kristen’s favorite designers so it’s not shocking she opted for that dress.

Spotted: Celebs at Fashion's Night Out NYC
As if celebrities need another excuse to shop! But put a cool title on the night, and they're sure to show up in droves. It's officially Fashion Week in New York, and kicking off the fabulous-ness was Fashion's Night Out, a "global celebration of fashion."

In an initiative to promote retail, restore consumer confidence, and celebrate fashion, Vogue coordinated an evening extravaganza in the Big Apple. Celebs came out of the woodwork to be a part of the festivities, from Gwen Stefani, to Victoria Beckham, to Justin Timberlake, they were all out and about to show their support to the "cause."

It was definitely no night to stay in, with celebs like Rihanna rocking the latest in couture fashion. She made an appearance at the Giuseppe Zanotti Boutique, sporting some dark black futuristic shades,a black hooded dress and studded ankle boots. She then moved on to star-favorite store Intermix, where she was seen with pal Katy Perry and Gossip Girl Michelle Trachtenberg.

And they're not the only three who took advantage of a night of shopping. Here's what a few other celebs told WWD:

Camilla Belle: “Driving up here, every single store had a line outside. It’s obviously working.”

Donna Karan: “I was just here at Saks looking for some things from my own line that I wanted to buy and they were sold out. I have to start making sure I order things for myself. I am shopping — isn’t that what you’re supposed to do?”

Justin Timberlake: “I don’t know why I always go for a sports analogy, but this is a win-win.” As for that other notable sporting news in town — Derek Jeter’s pursuit of Lou Gehrig, “In the age when so many of them get help, he’s the golden child, the ambassador of clean baseball.”

Diane Von Furstenberg: “There’s so much partying I don’t know how much business we’ll do. But it’s about building excitement…and celebrating.”

Michael Kors: “I’m a black belt shopper and I’ve been known to shop in the craziest of circumstances. I’m going on three stops [tonight] so I might have to put on a wig and sneak away to buy something.”

Sounds like an incredible evening! And with most of these celebs probably not looking at pricetags, we're sure they helped give the retail economy a little boost!

Hilary Gets Selfish For DKNY
Hilary Duff loves Donna Karan. So much so that the two are ready to release their much anticipated collaboration together.

The line that Hilary is designing for the mega fashion house is called Femme for DKNY.

The Duffster called the line "selfish" because the collection is made up mostly of skinny jeans, that the teen queen says " look the best on me.”

But the entire line is not all based on what looks great on Hilary. Duff was inspired by the everyday girl. “I’ll be walking down the street and think, oh she looks cute!”

While designing for DKNY, it was a good thing that Hilary was also inspired by NYC itself.

Hilary explains that “Especially being in New York because everyone has such unique styles. And it’s not people who have a ton of money or have a huge closet, but it's people wearing what they love and having a unique way of putting it together.”

Well, New Yorkers are famous for "putting it together" on a budget, and making anything work, but time will tell if the New York Fashionista set flocks to Duff's new collection.

No official date has been released yet on the Femme for DKNY line. We will keep you posted!
Donna Karen Getting Sued By Cartier
They say imitation is the highest form of flattery, but Cartier doesn't seem to agree.

The French powerhouse is suing Donna Karen for copyright infringement, accused her of copying their famous Tank watch collection.

In documents filed in New York's Manhattan federal court on Wednesday, Cartier executives claim: "It is apparent that (the) defendant's use of the Cartier Tank trademark in connection with watches is willful and intentional and done in willful disregard of Cartier's rights."

We'll spare you the long boring details of the lawsuit, in a nutshell, Cartier doesn't want to be associated with Donna Karen because they believe she's going to "devalue" their collection. Ouch!
Donna Karan The Bunny Butcher

Donna Karan is not a well-liked woman amongst animal rights activists. The streets surrounding her house in the Hamptons have been vandalized with the words "bunny butcher" as a reference to her usage of fur in her collections.

Shockingly, this isn't the work of PETA, although they're probably raging mad they didn't think of that first. The vandalizers are a group called the Paint Panthers. Scary!
