Vogue Names the Olsen Twins the Best Dressed Sisters of 2011

Apparently Vogue thinks that twin banshees in baggy clothing deserve to cover the magazine. And Anna Wintour approved it? Kidding, I actually love Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, from their dark eyeliner and straw colored hair, to their sartorial sense, these twin sisters were named the best dressed family duo by Vogue magazine for it’s Best Dressed Special Edition magazine available on newsstands November 15th.

The girls appear on the cover of the mag, in a photoshoot snapped by Craig McDean.

Coming in second place are the young Fanning sisters, Elle and Dakota. While neither of them are even 18 years old yet, they both exude a sort of runway model confidence in everything they wear. Even though Elle is only 13, she’s always dressed in Valentino, Chanel, or Marc Jacobs.

Dakota Fanning is seventeen, and in modeling years, that’s probably like sixty. So Marc Jacobs has moved on to her younger sister.

Elle Fanning, 13, will be the new face of Marc by Marc Jacobs.

Fanning isn’t the only young actress to team up with someone in the fashion world. 14 year-old Hallee Steinfeld recently became the new Miu Miu spokesmodel. At that age, the only clothing line I could’ve been the face of was our local Salvation Army.
