The Show Must Go On!
What Recession? In response to recent rumors that Fashion Week would not go on due to the recession, Mercedes Benz -Fashion Week released an official line up of designers showcasing their collection.

President of IMG fashion Fern Mallis said, “We are very proud and supportive of all the designers who continue to understand the power of the runway, the effectiveness of producing a first-class, top notch show is the best marketing tool a designer has in this climate, and we look forward to working closely with each designer to maximize this opportunity.”

Fashion week runs the course of 8 days, and approximately 100,000 people will trample the tents in their most fashionable stilettos, to see the new looks for the next season.
