Forever 21 Getting The Designer Treatment
September 27, 2011 by: MADISON VANDERBERG

This is a designer collection not to be missed. If you, like me, are one of those people who are afraid to shop at Forever 21 because of an irrational fear that they will check your ID and prove that you are older than 21, I would suggest either a) stop caring or b) get a fake ID that makes you appear younger. If 19-year-olds are using fake ID's to buy alcohol. 27 year olds can use the same ID to shop at Forever 21.
Rory Beca has designed for Forever 21 in the past but this new collaboration is an 18-piece collection inspired by the "disco glam" of the legendary nightclub Studio 54 while still maintaining Rory's signature delicate girly style.
"The first collection I did with Forever 21 was incredibly successful for my brand," explains Rory. "The marriage between our two brands worked so well, it made perfect sense to continue this successful partnership with another fun, festive collaboration."
If you want to shop Rory Beca's upscale designs, the average dress by Rory Beca runs for about $200 at stores like Barney's and Neiman Marcus, so I'd highly suggest you take advantage of her less expensive threads at Forever 21.
Alex & Chloe is launching their first ever collection for Forever 21. The average Alex & Chloe ring from their own brand goes for over $100, but it's 12-piece collection for Forever 21 will retail for waaay less than that.
The collection for both women and men "was influenced by punk and goth elements and accented with geometric shapes, spikes, pearls and crystals," Forever 21 released in a statement.
This is also the first time Forever 21 has worked with a jewelry designer. Alex & Chloe have gained popularity for the originality and references to pop fashion icon's such as their "Kate (the only 'Moss' in our woods)" necklace.
And lastly, Hello Kitty designs are popular for every woman at any age somehow. Show me a 4-year-old and a 21-year-old's closets and both will contain items from Hello Kitty. This limited-edition Hello Kitty fashion collection designed by Forever 21 and Sanrio will feature apparel, intimates, hosiery, jewelry and accessories. This collection will debut on November 18th.
"Forever 21 fused the playfulness of the brand's retro graphics with a grown-up style tailored for the Forever 21 shopper," says the statement.
The collection will feature contemporary "Hello Kitty pointelle sweaters, logo tees, cardigans - even a maxi-dress!"
