Gwen Stefani To Design Uniforms For W Hotels

The W Hotels are always filled with pretty people, including the ones who work there. One of the signature things each W boasts is it's cool bar scene, from the beach at the San Diego location, to the space-age Whiskey at the NYC W. If possible, the bars just got a little cooler.

Gwen Stefani has just signed a deal with the bars, designed by Rande Gerber, to design the outfits for female staffers who work at them. The short dresses, which will be made of washable black jersey material, will be in the style of one of Gwen's clothing lines, L.A.M.B. The outfits will debut in December or early 2009.

The deal came together after the W sponsored one of the lounges at Fashion Week. Director of PR for W Hotels Jenni Benzaquen says, "Gwen Stefani was in our lounge last season, and through that relationship she's doing uniforms for the Gerber bars located in W Hotels."
