H&M’s hotly anticipated new collection has arrived at stores today. The collection is an extension of H&M’s existing eco-friendly line, the Conscious Collection, and features a collection of gowns and cocktail dresses that would be perfect for any red carpet event.

Not only are these gowns gorgeous, they are made from sustainable materials like organic cotton and hemp and recycled polyester. Vegan eco-friendly celebs are going to go nuts.

Celebs like Michelle Williams, Amanda Seyfried and Viola Davis have already worn items from the collection to red carpets.

Michelle Williams wore a white bandeau top with a black maxi skirt to the 2012 BAFTA’s in February. Amanda Seyfried wore the metallic blue tuxedo jacket with matching shorts to the premiere of her flick “In Time” in November 2011.

There are also several floor length gowns in the collection. There’s an architectural purple and taupe dress with a mini skirt and long train. Another dress features a slim fit bodice and a giant ruffled skirt. There’s another pale green short-sleeved gown with a beaded top and mini plunging neckline.

This new collection comes just after H&M’s announcement that they are launching a new upscale retail store and calling it “& Other Stories.”

Hopefully “& Other Stories” will regularly stock it’s shelves with glamour affair like the red-carpet Conscious Collection. Are you planning on shopping the new Conscious Collection?
