You shut your mouth Jane Birkin! Do you know how many rich housewives worship at the altar of the Hermes Birkin bag!? Like, so many.
Hermes named it’s most expensive bag after actress and singer Jane Birkin, but she says that she doesn’t quite understand the appeal of the oversized handbag, but is happy that the bags cost so much because Hermes gives a lot of money to her charities because of those bags.
The average Birkin bag costs around $9,000 to $150,000, so Birkin (the woman) decided that Hermes should hand over some money to charity.

So anyways during a Heritage Auction in Dallas, where "Everything's bigger in Texas!" someone took that sentiment a little too seriously. An anonymous bidder paid $203,150 for an Hermes Birkin bag. The full title of the bag is a "Hermes Exceptional Collection Shiny Rouge H Porosus Crocodile 30 cm Birkin Bag with Solid 18K White Gold & Diamond Hardware." So when that Texas lady's husband wonders why she spend $200K on a purse she can be like, "but it's 'Exceptional.'"

Wearing a simple, yet chic black dress, Anne was photographed with a red patent leather Tod’s handbag while clutching onto a blue leather bag. All while lounging on top of a red sports car. She’s got skillz. Just an average day, don’t mind me, I’m just gonna take a nap on this Ferrari.
The sexy shots were taken in London by photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, and ads will hit fashion magazines in October.
"I have been a longtime fan of Tod's," the actress says in statement, "and was very excited to be a part of exploring a new side of their identity with the launch of their Signature Collection."

It’s something about those lines that makes us look wider than we actually are in real life.
So this season I’ve decided to save the stripes for my bags. The spring 2011 runway was filled with striped bags.
They’re going to be huge this season and whether the lines are going horizontal or vertical, it’s not going affect the way we look or feel. Sold.

2 years is a long time, but it’s not that bad considering the fact that there is a 6-year wait list for the bag– the longest wait for any bag in history.
Every time I hear a story about a Birkin bag; I automatically remember the episode from Sex and the City when Samantha used her client Lucy Liu to get herself a Birkin. Basically, this bag is extremely hard to get.
The only way you will be able to get one is if you are extremely lucky and they have it at the store because they no longer take special orders from regular folks.
So why is this handbag so special? The Birkin bag is a handmade purse by Hermès and named after actress and singer Jane Birkin. The bag is a symbol of wealth due to its high price and elusiveness to the public.
Depending on the material of the bag, prices range from $9,000 to $150,000.

Almost every single item from their Spring 2011 Ready-to-Wear collection is something any fashionista would die for. Ok, no one’s dying here, but we would live in eternal bliss.
Since I’m loving all thing’s Gucci, my hot item of the week is the Gucci 'Madison' medium tote.
Charlize Theron was photographed at LAX airport carrying the same tote matched with her boyfriend blazer.
The only downside about the Madison is that you are not going to be able to pay rent for a few months because it retails for $3900. Since when did Gucci bags get so expensive?

Hey, Lilo has been busy for the last few months with jail and rehab, which is why she hasn’t had time to design.
