Heidi Klum Fronts New TV and Ad Campaign for Jordache
Heidi Klum looks kind of corpse-ish in her new ad for Jordache, thanks to a strangely masklike makeup job and skin-colored lips.

Maybe she’s finally getting sick of her 5-year relationship with the cheapo denim brand that’s currently only sold through Wal-Mart for $16.44 a pair. Or perhaps it was the brutal sounding shoot that had her cantering about in 5-inch heels for hours:

“Heidi’s beautiful and a great businesswoman and designer, and she also turns out to be an amazing dancer with great stamina,” said Liz Berlinger, president of Jordache.

“She danced from 10 in the morning until midnight in 5-inch heels. I’d have a hard time walking down the street in the heels she was wearing.”

It’s all part of comeback attempt for a brand that went from producing worn-by-everyone jeans to baby diapers back in the 90s.

For Jordache, the campaign will be the first in two decades to hit televisions and print ads, and comes at the beginning of a push to expand to other stores and exclusively Jordache retail stores. We’ll have to see if Klum can give them the oomph they need to come back into relevancy.
